Take my advice, buy this product. It's one of the best products I've purchased since I started blogging and I love it! Dr Organic is a great brand that has really potent active skincare that isn't expensive, and works straight away. I've been waiting to post this for about two weeks and now I've tested it long enough so I can share my thoughts and review. Sold in Holland and Barrett.

It comes in a pretty box like all of the Dr Organic Skincare. The product itself is in a clouded glass bottle, where you can see the serum inside. It's not heavy but not light weight either. Good for travel.
Price - £12.99 for 30ml
Texture - Soft, creamy serum
Finish - Smooth, glowing, boosted skin

What they say
This light, fast absorbing, hydrating radiance elixir instantly penetrates and infuses the skin with organic extracts and tropical oils to bioactively re-energise and rejuvenate.

Key ingredients
Coconut Oil - Intensely hydrates and retains moisture in the skin
Aloe Vera Leaf Juice - Protects against UV damage, and is anti-inflammatory
Lemon Peel Oil - Increases lustre to dull skin
Vitamin C - Helps boost collagen production

What is it
This is an amazing serum that does everything a serum should do. It adds hydration, moisture, radiance and softness. It's packed with active ingredients that target different skin concerns and makes your skin look 100x better. The second best thing is that it smells of coconut! Suitable for all skin types.

How I use it
I take between a 5p and 20p amount for my whole face and neck. You can apply it AM or PM, it's a very creamy serum, so it feels a lot richer on the skin, instead or a gel/watery texture. When rubbed in, it does absorb quickly, so it does't feel heavy or greasy. It gives a beautiful smooth base under makeup, and an amazing glow in the evening. Every time I use it my skin looks so much better and healthier.

Pros
- Smells incredible
- Rich and nourishing
- Hydrating and softening
- Affordable
- Suitable for all skin types

Cons
- None

Summary
I have been using this almost every night since I bought it and my skin has changed so much. It's so nourishing and amazing, I will definitely get some of the other coconut products! I highly recommend this serum to everyone. Thank you for reading.

I'm very picky with face masks, they have to smell good and work. I've tried Brazened Honey from Lush which I love, and recently I tried The Sacred Truth face mask, I really didn't like it. I could not deal with the smell, I can't describe it, but it wasn't nice. It didn't do anything for my skin either.
That hasn't stopped me try more, so I picked up Oatifix and tried it a few times. I wanted to review it and tell you if it works.

The mask comes in the typical small, hand size pot. It's a fresh face mask, so it has to be kept in the fridge, these masks only have a shelf life of one month.
Price - £6.50 for 75g
Texture - Cold, hard porridge ( in a good way)
Finish - Soothed, moisturised, soft skin

What they say
Cleanse, soften and moisturise dry, sensitive skin. Smooth a generous layer of this mask onto your face and leave for 10-15 minutes to get to work.

Key ingredients
Oatmeal - Soothing and anti-inflammatory
Illipe Butter - Reduce redness
Banana - Rich and nourishing
Ground almonds - To polish the skin

What is it
This is a beautiful soothing and calming face mask, designed for dry/sensitive skin, but it's perfect for anyone to use. The skin is instantly softer, smoother and calmer. It has a nice sweet porridge smell, which I like. Suitable for all skin types.

How I use it
I take a good glob for my whole face avoiding the eyes, applying it thicker to drier parts of my face and leave on for 15 minutes. It's a hard, chunky texture but spreads nicely. I take it off with a nice hot damp flannel. Straight away any redness is gone, the skin looks calm, and feels so moisturised.

Pros
- Smells yummy
- Suitable for all skin types
- Softening and smoothing
- Moisturising
- Affordable

Cons
- None

Summary
I love this mask! Everything about it is great, the price, formula, even smell. It's a winner all round for me and I highly recommend it. You can probably get a good 4-5 uses out of it, so you could use it once a week and it will last a month. Or as often as you want.  When this runs out I will be getting another one straight away. Thank you for reading.

After picking up the sample size in InStyle magazine, I decided to put it to the test and bought the full size so I can use it for at least a week. I have never used any sort of self/gradual tan before this, and I really enjoyed the experience. I have before and after shots, also with dates. Onto the review of the new St Tropez Gradual Tan In Shower Lotion.

I love the packaging. It's a nice slim tube with a gorgeous blue ombre effect and pretty water droplets. (Definitely looks prettier than the typical white or gold tan bottles.)
Price - £14.50 for 200ml
Texture - Soft cream
Finish - Gradual, golden tan

What they say
Just 3 minutes as part of your daily shower regime, St Tropez Gradual Tan In Shower Lotion is a convenient way to build a sun kissed, gradual glow, that provides up to 24 hour moisturisation.

Key ingredients
Sweet Almond Oil - Hydrates the skin

What is it
This is a gradual tan that you apply daily to build up a beautiful natural looking golden tan. It has a nice scent when you apply it, but by night time it has a slight biscuit scent. Suitable for all skin types.

Tips whilst using this tan
- Don't apply to sensitive, dry areas
- Patch test first
- It will stain nails if not washed off properly.
- Not intended for the face

How I used it
The first application I did was only to my arms and decollate, so that area in the end was darkest. At the end of my shower, after using shower gel I applied a generous amount to my body in circular motions to make sure it's even. You turn off the water, and wait for three minutes so it develops. It is a bit annoying to stand naked, cold for three minutes, but it does get easier each time. Once the time is up, rinse off with warm water, and pat skin dry. Make sure you rinse it off evenly.

- Shave and exfoliate before applying
- Moisturise after (it does hydrate but not enough for me)

Before and After Pictures

Before Tan

3rd Day

6th Day

8th Day (tan fading)

For a pale skin tone like mine, the tan is quite noticeable, it's a good golden undertone, not orange/green or fake. I think it offers a realistic looking tan as if you've been on holiday. I really enjoyed having golden arms, my family especially noticed it and said it looks very healthy. For people who are already a medium skin tone or people who love a deep tan, this won't be for you. You could use it as a tan top up.

Pros
- Easy application
- Realistic colour
- Smells nice when applying
- Great starter for pale skin
- Mid price

Cons
- Won't do much for medium/dark skins
- Slight biscuit scent by night time ( goes after morning shower)
- Not instant

Summary
I really enjoyed trying this out. The effect I had was amazing, it makes you look sun kissed and healthy. Would be great for a pick up in winter because it's not too dark or fake looking. This could be amazing for so many people and I think it's definitely worth trying. If I do get more into tanning, this will be my staple. It has made me lust after golden limbs, and I'll be honest, I wanted it to be darker after seeing how nice my arms were when tanned! I hope this review helped and the pictures were a good example of how this product works. Thank you for reading.

After falling in love with the original glycolic fix pads by Nip and Fab I decided to try the extreme version. I picked them up from Superdrug and have been testing them every night since. I love this brand and have become quite addicted to their products.

The pads come in this hand size plastic pot with bright blue and orange packaging. I think it's great for travelling because you have all your acid pads in one place.
Price -  (I can't find the price I paid, it was around £8) for 60 pads
Texture - Bumpy, soft, thin pads
Finish - Very bright, exfoliated skin

What they say
Super strength acid exfoliating facial pads to target oily and congested skin. A concentrated acid blend of AHAs and BHAs help to improve the skin's natural exfoliating process.

Key ingredients
- 5% Glycolic acid - Aids natural skin exfoliation and refines skin's texture.
- Salicylic acid - Helps unclog congested skin.
Lactic acid - Gently weakens the bonds holding dead skin cells together.

What is it
These are very intense acid toning pads that resurface, clear and exfoliate the skin. The pads are pre soaked in the acid solution.  They have a very fresh/clean scent. Suitable for all skin types, using daily maybe too harsh for sensitive skins.

(the pads are very thin)

How I use it
I take a pad, swipe it all over my face and neck, turn it over and go again. I only use them at night to help exfoliate and clear the surface for all my serums and moisturisers. Using acid toners in pad forms are much more gentle than using harsh beads. I get instant results when I use these pads. My skin looks amazing after every use.

Pros
 - Full of beneficial acids
- Instantly see brighter skin
- Skin feels clear and toned
- Great for all skin types

Cons
- Maybe too harsh for everyday/sensitive skins

Summary
These pads are a great find for me, I love exfoliating in acid form and I use them daily to keep my skin smooth and toned. They are packed with acids to (essentially) give my skin a kick up the ass. For the price these are a great affordable option for everyone. I will definitely get a back up to have for when these finish. Thank you for reading.

I am a long time user and lover of Sleek Makeup blushers. They have incredible pigmentation, texture and payoff on the cheeks. Just recently I was praying that they release single cream blushes, and it looks like my prayers were answered. Sleek have released six new cream to powder blushes and they are all gorgeous! I picked up one shade for testing but I'm definitely going to get the others. Onto the review.

The blush comes in a simple black box with a colour swatch of the shade. The packaging of the blush is very 'sleek', it's feels soft has a matte finish. It feels nice and sturdy and is great for travel.
Price - £5.99 for 3.5g
Texture - Soft, smooth cream
Finish - Fresh, dewy glow on cheeks

What they say
This unique creme to powder blush offers radiance and a beautifully dewy, satin finish. Soft texture blends to a light powdery effect, suitable for all skin types. Long -wearing silky formula glides on smoothly. Excellent for touch-ups throughout the day.

What is it
This is a gorgeous cream to powder blush that gives colour, glow and dewiness to the cheeks. It's very pigmented and has great pay off. The blush itself is very creamy and smooth, not chunky at all. It's perfect for Spring or Summer to add a flush of colour to the face. Suitable for all skin tones and types.

(there is a plastic cover over the blush)

This shade is Gerbera - A very bright orange shade.

How I apply it
I use a brush like the Real Techniques Contour Brush or even the Expert Face Brush and apply it to the apples and upwards onto the cheekbones. It is intense, but can we worn more sheer, it gives a gorgeous glow and satin effect to the skin. There is no shimmer/glitter. It lasts nicely on the skin, and sets into a powder but does not look cake or powdery.

Pros
- Affordable
- Good shade range
- Smooth texture
- Can be applied sheer or bright

Cons
- None

Summary
I am so happy I decided to try out this blusher. Sleek Makeup have done very well and I'm very impressed. Everything from the price to formula to colour is amazing and I can't wait to get the other ones. I highly recommend these blushers and think a lot of people will love them. Thank you for reading.

After seeing this palette release, I thought I've got to try it . This will be my first impression and swatches. Once I've done a couple looks with the eyeshadows, I will report back on creasing, pigmentation, application etc. They also have a pink based palette called the Blushed Nude Palette, which I really want to try.

The packaging is simple and sleek. I like that you have a window to see the colours in the palette. It closes securely, however if you dropped the palette I'm not sure if the eyeshadows would stay in tact. Looks good for travel.

Price - £9.99 for 12 shadows.

What they say
One Palette. Infinite looks. 12 curated shades from natural to smokey, shimmer to matte, positioned to perfectly compliment each other in Duos, Trio, Quads. Create infinite nude looks with just 1 easy to use palette. Dare to Go Nude.

What is it
This is an affordable neutral eyeshadow palette with 12 shadows to create various eye looks. It contains mattes, shimmers and satins. The shades vary from warm to cool tones. Shades suitable for all skin tones. ( it does come with a double sided sponge applicator but lets be honest, I won't use it)

The Palette

The Swatches

These are swatches of the top row.

You have:
White highlight - Shimmer
Neutral taupe - Satin
Yellow transition - Matte
Warm bronze/gold - Shimmer
Pink brown transition - Matte
Dark grey brown - Satin

What I do like
I love the two matte shades, they are smooth, creamy and pigmented, I will definitely get use out of them as transition shades or for quick definition. The warm bronze shade is very pigmented, as you can see, it's very smooth and would look amazing as a pop of colour on the lid. The two brown satin shades are very nice too, smooth and creamy.

What I don't like
I am not a fan of the highlight shade. It comes off mainly as glitter. The actual colour is very nice it's a white, slightly pink iridescence but it's very chunky. If it was more finely pressed and even, it would be very nice on the brow bone and inner corner.

These swatches are of the bottom row.

You have:
Warm brown - Satin
Dark warm brown - Matte
Yellow based gold - Shimmer
Dark red based brown - Shimmer
Champagne highlight - Shimmer
Grey black - Satin

What I like
I like the warm brown satin shade, it's a gorgeous shade for all over the lid for a one step eye look. The dark brown matte shade is very nice, it's smooth and pigmented. I love the gold and dark brown shimmers, they are so intense and smooth, perfect for a dramatic smokey eye.

What I don't like
The highlight in this row is better than the top row, but it's still a bit chunky, the colour is gorgeous though. The black in this palette is not very intense, it's more grey when swatched. I didn't expect it to be very intense as it's hard to find good black eyeshadows from the drugstore/high-street.

Pros
- Good selection of shades
- Affordable
- Nice packaging
- Mix of finishes
- Can create all sorts of looks

Cons
- Some shades are wishy washy/ chunky

Summary
Overall I think this is a great palette. For the price, the eyeshadows are great quality, there's a few which need re-formulating but most of them are creamy, smooth and very pigmented. The mixture of shades is amazing, as you have good matte transition shades, intense shimmers and warm and cool browns. You can create a range of looks from one palette. It would be great for a short trip and you don't want to take a heap of eyeshadows.
I will do some looks with the palette and report back on how they last and apply. Thank you so much for reading.

Firstly, congratulations to those of you who are getting married.
This post is going to be a bit different, it's beauty related, but we're talking bridal beauty. As soon as we started planning our wedding everything has been crazy, there's been plenty of sleepless nights and even anxiety. Finding dress designers, cake makers, florists, the list is endless but now I'm concentrating on my own personal organising  i.e. beauty prep.
So I thought it would be helpful for me to share my wedding journey with you and hopefully help and inspire other brides to be. Also, this is not a have to /must but I know there a lot of brides that this may benefit. Plus the info is from a real person going through it, not just from a website.

My wedding is 7 months away...SCARY.
I think around now is the best time to start prepping yourself for the big day( enough time to see results/benefits). Of course some people maybe aren't bothered too much, but I think every woman has some desire to do what she can to maximise her beauty on her big day. These tips are purely off my knowledge, always seek professional advice if you are unsure/concerned.

Tip Number 1 - Get Hydrated

Start drinking water! A lot of water! I drink at least 2L daily, and this is the quickest and easiest way to start helping your body inside and out. This will flush out toxins, keep your system working properly, and greatly improve your skin. It will keep you clear and hydrated which will show especially on your wedding day. If you want to maximise the wedding 'glow' this will jump start that.

Tip Number 2 - Sort Your Skin Out

It doesn't matter if you're a beauty junkie or not, this is crucial. You need to get a hold on your skin and give it the proper attention and care. Skin care routines are very personal, products work so differently on everyone but get a solid routine going. Whatever your skin type, budget or concerns, start these steps :

Double Cleansing
Acid Toning
Spray Toning
Good Serums
Intense Moisturising

Tip Number 3 - Diet and Fitness

Every one needs a good diet to look and feel their best. Get as many fruits and veg in you as you can. Especially colourful foods like carrots, dark greens, watermelon, blueberries, etc. Also eat good fats like avocados, nuts, fish. Cut back/ out on sugar, salt and bad fats wherever possible. I don't crave either and it's such a easy thing to give up once you start. Cutting out sugar will decrease inflammation and cutting out salt will decrease puffiness. By bad fats I mean, fried foods, processed meat, things like that.
When it comes to exercising, don't go crazy just for your wedding. You might want to shed a lot of pounds, but your partner obviously loves you no matter what your size/shape. Exercise sensibly, don't aim to lose an excessive amount of weight in just 6-7 months. Just so steady, even losing up to 10lbs is a great loss, and will show. The exercising will also help get the blood flowing, flush out toxins, get fresh oxygenated blood around the body, especially great for the skin.

A few extra things to start addressing.

Hair
Get your hair healthy. Limit using heat as much as possible, get trims to keep hair looking and feeling good. Start using hair masks, either from Boots or just use plain old 100% coconut oil.

Nails
Similar to hair, trim them regularly, use cuticle oils and good hand creams.

Body
It's simple, exfoliate and moisturise. Keep your body bright and smooth, especially areas that will be revealed in your dress. (arms, legs, decollate and back.

Sorry this was a long one, I feel like I can talk about bridal beauty/prep forever.  This time will only come once and I want to make the most out of it. After all it's our time to shine!
Thank you for reading, if you enjoyed this, maybe I'll start doing posts about other wedding aspects like planning, finding suppliers and even the emotional side people don't talk about.

I thought it would be fun to share with you the beauty products I especially enjoy in Summer. These products really perk me up and help me get the most out of Summer.

Fragrance

Zoella Blissful Mistful Fragrance Body Mist
Superdrug

I love this body mist. To me, it's a drugstore dupe for Marc Jacobs Daisy Perfume. It has the exact scent, to me. It's so floral and warm but not fake, or cheap smelling. It's such a summer scent and lasts a long time on the skin/clothing. Gorgeous for anyone.

Skincare

Caudalie Beauty Elixir
Space NK

This face spritz is the perfect handbag skincare essential for Summer. It is so refreshing and hydrating. I wouldn't spritz over makeup personally, but maybe on you it might not affect your makeup. It has a beautiful minty, grape, fresh scent that is so uplifting and refreshing.

The Body Shop Vitamin C Energising Face Spritz
The Body Shop

This an another beautiful face spritz that wakes up dull, dehydrated skin. It has a orange-citrus scent that is so invigorating. Again, I personally wouldn't spray over makeup.

Super Facialist Salicylic Acid Pore Purifying Clay Mask
Boots

Clay masks are great a deep clean a few times a week. This one is my favourite. It dries very tight almost instantly and you can feel it working. Once you remove it, the skin is soft, clear and brighter. Great for those with acne, or a few breakouts to help treat and calm them.

The Body Shop Vitamin C Glow Boosting Moisturiser
The Body Shop

I've shown this quite a few times on the blog so I won't drag on. This is the perfect moisturiser for Summer. It's a light gel-cream texture that absorbs quickly. It hydrates, brightens and adds radiance to the skin instantly. Great for all skin types

Makeup

Illamasqua Hydra Veil Primer
Selfridges

This primer is amazing. It hydrates and preps the skin ready for foundation. My base always looks flawless after applying this primer. This is great for normal/dry skins that want more moisture in their base. It's a soft gel texture that absorbs quickly and leaves the skin feeling soft. It's great for Summer because it's nice and light.

Sleek Makeup Blush By 3 - Californ.i.a
Superdrug

This is possibly my all time favourite drugstore blush. That's a big statement! This palette contains three cream blushers that are so creamy, pigmented and flattering on the skin. They can be applied sheer. If you don't like creamy blushes you probably won't like this. I personally love cream cheek products. I like to apply the shade on the right to my cheeks, then apply the middle shade over top, because it adds a glowy sheen to the cheeks. Not in a glittery obvious way though.

Lush Feeling Younger Skin Tint
Lush Cosmetics

I love this product! It is a light reflecting cream that adds glow and brings light to wherever you place it. I apply it under foundation to my cheek bones, cupids bow, chin and tip of the nose. If you don't like powder highlighters this is a more subtle way to add a glow. It's a white cream with pink iridescence.

Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation -3
Selfridges

This is my all time favourite foundation. For me, it's perfect all year round, but I love it especially in the Summer. It has a natural to dewy finish, depending on what's applied under and over it. It helps gives luminosity to the face in a subtle way. There's no shimmer or glitter. There's a reason a lot of people love it! It is expensive, but i saved up to buy it and it's worth it. A little goes a long way as well, so you don't feel caked in foundation but you get good coverage.

Revlon Colourburst Lacquer Balm - Demure
Boots/ Superdrug

This is one of my go to lip products in Summer. It's a light wash of colour on the lips with a little bit of shimmer. Your hair won't get stuck in it and it has a beautiful finish.
