After seeing this palette release, I thought I've got to try it . This will be my first impression and swatches. Once I've done a couple looks with the eyeshadows, I will report back on creasing, pigmentation, application etc. They also have a pink based palette called the Blushed Nude Palette, which I really want to try.

The packaging is simple and sleek. I like that you have a window to see the colours in the palette. It closes securely, however if you dropped the palette I'm not sure if the eyeshadows would stay in tact. Looks good for travel.

Price - £9.99 for 12 shadows.

The Palette

The Swatches

These are swatches of the top row.

You have:
White highlight - Shimmer
Neutral taupe - Satin
Yellow transition - Matte
Warm bronze/gold - Shimmer
Pink brown transition - Matte
Dark grey brown - Satin

What I do like
I love the two matte shades, they are smooth, creamy and pigmented, I will definitely get use out of them as transition shades or for quick definition. The warm bronze shade is very pigmented, as you can see, it's very smooth and would look amazing as a pop of colour on the lid. The two brown satin shades are very nice too, smooth and creamy.

What I don't like
I am not a fan of the highlight shade. It comes off mainly as glitter. The actual colour is very nice it's a white, slightly pink iridescence but it's very chunky. If it was more finely pressed and even, it would be very nice on the brow bone and inner corner.

These swatches are of the bottom row.

You have:
Warm brown - Satin
Dark warm brown - Matte
Yellow based gold - Shimmer
Dark red based brown - Shimmer
Champagne highlight - Shimmer
Grey black - Satin

What I like
I like the warm brown satin shade, it's a gorgeous shade for all over the lid for a one step eye look. The dark brown matte shade is very nice, it's smooth and pigmented. I love the gold and dark brown shimmers, they are so intense and smooth, perfect for a dramatic smokey eye.

What I don't like
The highlight in this row is better than the top row, but it's still a bit chunky, the colour is gorgeous though. The black in this palette is not very intense, it's more grey when swatched. I didn't expect it to be very intense as it's hard to find good black eyeshadows from the drugstore/high-street.

Pros
- Good selection of shades
- Affordable
- Nice packaging
- Mix of finishes
- Can create all sorts of looks

Cons
- Some shades are wishy washy/ chunky

Summary
Overall I think this is a great palette. For the price, the eyeshadows are great quality, there's a few which need re-formulating but most of them are creamy, smooth and very pigmented. The mixture of shades is amazing, as you have good matte transition shades, intense shimmers and warm and cool browns. You can create a range of looks from one palette. It would be great for a short trip and you don't want to take a heap of eyeshadows.
I will do some looks with the palette and report back on how they last and apply. Thank you so much for reading.
