I'm really excited to share this review with you, as I think I'm one of the first to talk about this product. I saw this cleanser for the first time on the Boots shelf a few weeks ago, and chucked it straight into my basket. The gel to oil-non drying claim is what caught my attention. I've tested it out and I have to say, I'm impressed.

The cleanser comes in a tall plastic bottle. It's quite cute. Not bad for travel, if you have space.
Price - £5.99 for 125ml - I bought it on sale for £2.99!
Texture - Thick, oily gel
Finish - Fresh, smooth, clean skin

What they say
Gently lifts away impurities and removes make up with soothing Clary Sage for dehydrated and sensitive skin

Key ingredients
Clary Sage - Antiseptic, antibacterial, calms and soothes skin
Olive Fruit Oil - Rich in essential fatty acids
Jojoba Oil - Moisturises without clogging pores

What is it
This cleanser effectively purifies the skin whilst hydrating and calming at the same time. It starts as a thick gel which warms into an oil. It has a really nice fresh scent, (reminds me of the St Tropez In Shower Gradual Tan - not sure why). Suitable for all skin types, especially good for dry, dehydrated skin.
( the gel to oil is similar to Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel)

( thick gel)

(oil)

How I use it
I take a good 10p blob and massage it well over the face, neck and eyes. It's great for AM/PM, I like both. This again is a cleanser I prefer to use on bare skin, if you want to use it for your first cleanse/makeup removal, you can do. I work it all over and remove with a hot flannel. My skin is super clean without being stripped or dry. There's also a bit of a trick to this cleanser. Once you start to warm the gel, it starts to get really thick and almost stick your hands together. When it starts to get thicker, keep warming it between your hands, and it will melt into a lovely soft oil. Strange I know. It's not for those who like 'milk' or light cleansers, but if you like heavy duty gels/balms, this is great.

Pros
- Great ingredients
- So affordable
- Huge size
- Convenient packaging
- Good texture that removes everything
- Nice fresh scent
- Will last a long time

Cons
- None

Summary
What an amazing find! I cannot fault this cleanser at all, especially at that price! Non drying cleansers are a rarity in the drugstore/highstreet, but Boots Botanics have definitely picked up on the fact, we don't want bubbly foaming products anymore! We want nourishment and grease! In a good way obviously. I will definitely be checking out other products in the Hydration Burst range. Thank you all for reading and I hope you test this cleanser out!

Hello everyone! I hope you all had an amazing Christmas and got to share it with your nearest and dearest. Today I'm doing a quick review on one of my favourite affordable cleansers. I realised the other day, I've been using it at least 4-5 times a week, and it's still full! It's so underrated its ridiculous! I hope you enjoy.

The oil comes in a chunky plastic hand-sized bottle, with a flip cap. It's not good for travel.
Price - £10.99 for 200ml
Texture - Thin oil
Finish - Fresh, clear, glowing, soft skin

What they say
The ultimate cleansing experience for fresher, more revived skin starts with this unique lightweight cleansing oil.

Key ingredients
Vitamin C - Rich in antioxidants, helps boost collagen production, fades discolouration and marks
Rosehip Oil - Essential fatty acids repair skin damage, moisturises and adds glow
Olive Oil - High in Vitamin E, which hydrates, softens and soothes the skin

What is it
This is a gorgeous cleansing oil that deeply cleans to reveal fresh, radiant, glowing skin. It's a thin oil that easily applies and massages on the face. The citrus scent is so invigorating and a pleasure to work with. The oils in it leave the skin incredibly soft. Suitable for all skin types.

(oily stage)

(milky stage)

How I use it
I massage 4/5 drops onto my face and neck thoroughly. You can use this AM/PM. I tend to use it as my morning cleanse because it works perfectly at waking me up and cutting through that morning sweat. Once you've worked it into the skin, you can add water to emulsify and splash the milk off. I of course take it off with a hot flannel while it's still oily. This will remove makeup well, but I only use it as a 'skin' cleanser. My skin looks and perfect after every use. It's definitely a cheaper alternative for EH Moringa Balm (in terms of results).

Pros
- Affordable and great amount of product
- Gorgeous zingy scent
- Thin texture
- Great slip for massage
- Skin cleanser or makeup remover
- Great for all skin types
- Perfect skin after every use

Cons
- Absolutely none

Summary
I cannot rave about this enough! It's just perfection in a bottle! It's the ideal cleanser for anyone. It's easily available, packed with amazing ingredients and does exactly what you want. It's also great for teens who want to break out of the 'foaming' curse and try something more nourishing. Thanks so much for reading!

Admittedly I did an Oskia splurge a couple months back, hence the two reviews. This mask has impressed me a lot. When I saw the name was Renaissance mask, I had high hopes, after the cleansing gel. So here's the review.

The mask comes in a glass pot like the exfoliating balm. Not good for travel.
Price - £48.50 for 50ml
Texture - Thick gel/balm
Finish - Radiant, glowing, exfoliated skin

What they say
Renaissance Mask is a luxurious, buttery balm designed to increase cell turnover, boost radiance and gradually reduce the appearance of fine lines and imperfections.

Key ingredients
Lactic Acid - Gently exfoliates to reveal newer skin cells
Papaya Fruit Extract - Another exfoliating ingredient that also contains multiple vitamins which nourish

What is it
This is a beautiful gel/balm mask that gives glow, radiance and lift to the skin. It's a gorgeous salmon colour that turns white once fully applied. The skin is luminous and super soft. The scent is a stronger version of the cleansing gel. Suitable for all skin types.

How I use it
After cleansing I apply a generous amount all over my face. You can use this AM/PM. I tend to use it once or twice a week. Leave it on for 15-20 minutes and then remove with a hot flannel. I really enjoy the scent. After using it, my face is gorgeously soft, and so radiant. It's also great for a pamper session or just when you need a bit of luxury.

Pros
- Beautiful texture
- Easy to remove
- Nice scent
- Gives glow and brightens
- Good amount
- A little goes a long way
- Super soft skin

Cons
- Very expensive

Summary
I really like this mask. Would I re-purchase it? I don't think so, purely because of how expensive it is. I find you can get similar results from using, Pixi Glow Mud Mask, Lush Cup O Coffee and the Masque Bar Brightening Sheet masks, for a fraction of the price. I do still love this mask, for the luxury and I do use it often.
Thanks so much for reading!

I do like a bit of Oskia. The cleansing gel is of course my favourite product, but this is definitely my second pick. Whilst it may not be an everyday step in your routine, it's definitely worth having in the background for when the skin needs oomph.

The balm comes in a heavy, thick glass pot. The packaging is lovely and simple. Not good for travel.
Price - £46 for 50ml
Texture - Soft, creamy, gritty balm
Finish - Really soft, bright, exfoliated skin

What they say
This gentle, skin-refining polish contains ultra-fine micro-particles, to buff skin & banish surface debris without ruffling your skin's feathers.

Key ingredients
Sweet Almond Oil - Rich source of vitamins, minerals and very moisturising
Silica Grains - Gently buff and polish the skin
Sesame Seed Oil - Easily absorbs into skin so it can repair skin damage with Vitamin E

What is it
This exfoliating balm gently sloughs away dead skin, and helps the give skin it's glow back. It gently unclogs pores and really smoothes the surface of the face. It has a very gentle fresh scent. Suitable for all skin types except sensitive.

( the redness on my hand is not from the balm, its eczema marks)

How I use it
After cleansing, I take a blob and massage it into the skin, like you would a cleanser, (avoid eyes). You can use this AM/PM, if you do use it in the day, remember to wear SPF if going outside. I use it once or twice a week.
After a minute or two, I remove it with a hot flannel. Once it's off, you can instantly feel and see a difference. Using this also helps other products (serums, moisturisers) penetrate better. The scent is very light and you don't really notice it. It's also great if you have a special occasion and you want a flawless base before applying makeup.

Pros
- Results after every use
- Gorgeous gentle texture
- Very small grains
- Good amount of product
- A little goes a long way
- Easily spreadable

Cons
- Quite expensive

Summary
I really enjoy this exfoliating balm! Like I said it's not crucial, but it does help if you're skin is looking dull/clogged or uneven. It is pricey, but it will last a long time, so you will get your money's worth. This will be used Christmas morning to give me a beautiful canvas before makeup! Thank you so much for reading!

We all know winter can dry out our skin, lips and even hair. I try to stay hydrated as much as I can, but recently my lips were so dry and chapped. Gross. I bought this product a few weeks ago and it has transformed my lips! Even my fiancé loves it, he tried it one night and the next morning said and I quote ( It's amazing, 10 out of 10). That's got to mean something! I don't think it's had enough hype and praise, so here's my review! Enjoy.

The oil comes in a pretty, hand sized plastic bottle with a mirrored lid. Super cute and perfect for travel.
Price - £18 for 7ml
Texture - Thick gel/oil
Finish - Extremely soft, moisturised lips

What they say
The ultimate lip care treatment! Containing 3 key plant extracts, this non-sticky oil with a melting, lip-plumping formula will leave lips feeling nourished and comfortable

Key ingredients
Hazelnut Oil - Rich in essential fatty acids and very nourishing
Organic Jojoba Oil - Nourishes, adds sheen and soothes
Mirabelle Oil - Helps prevent dehydration

What is it
This is essentially a beautiful rich, thick lip balm. The oil/gel texture gives instant comfort and nourishment to dry lips. The fat sponge applicator is easy to apply with and really cushions the lips. This one has a very soft sweet - vanilla/honey scent. Suitable for all skin types and ages.

How I use it
Once my full skincare routine is done, I apply a decent amount all over my lips. As if you're applying lipgloss. You can use this anytime throughout the day your lips need moisture. It adds a gorgeous sheen, so it's great if you're doing a very simple makeup look too. The consistency is thick but after about 15/20 minutes it absorbs fully. I don't mind the oily texture as it's so soothing. It's perfect for those who love sweet, light scents.

Pros
- Results after one use
- Immediate comfort
- Gorgeous texture and finish
- Addictive soft scent
- Great applicator
- Perfect travel size

Cons
- A bit pricey, but then - it is Clarins. It is worth every penny though!

Summary
What a fab, under rated product! Please do your lips a favour and try this. If you suffer from dry, chapped, split lips, this is a God send! Or even if your lips are already kissably soft, this makes a great pre makeup treatment, especially if you're applying a matte product or liquid lipstick! I cannot praise this product enough! I'm definitely going to have to re-purchase this, especially since my fiancé keeps secretly using it! Haha! Thanks so much for reading guys!

I've been wanting to try this cleanser for absolutely ages, especially after the Sali Hughes & Caroline Hirons video (part 2). It's also my first product from Ole Henriksen, which is exciting. I'm so glad that after all the lusting, it works!

How I use it
I take a 5/10p amount and massage it over the face, eyes and neck. You can use this AM/PM, I love it for both. I use it as a skin cleanser, it's far too nice to remove makeup. I remove it with a hot flannel when it's in the oil stage. You can emulsify with water to create a milk if you prefer. The scent is very uplifting and perfect for the morning cleanse. It leaves my skin super soft and plump, but also clear and refreshed.

Pros
- Great for all skin types
- Gorgeous light orange scent
- Mid price
- Sturdy packaging

I'm enjoying this so much, it's my current favourite. It works great for morning and evening, which makes it a great all round product. I have to say thanks to Dani before I get into the review. She showed this toner in her favourites and as soon as I heard acid and toner, well you know what happened. It's a bit unusual for me since it's Lactic Acid, most of my acid products are glycolic/salicylic. I've been testing it out for a few weeks now, and it's ready for it's close up.

Check out Dani's favourite video and her other tutorials here -
https://www.youtube.com/user/danielleahlouisexo

The packaging isn't very fashionable but it's a nice secure plastic bottle. A bit big for travel.
Price - £9.50 for 200ml
Texture - Liquid
Finish - Toned, bright, exfoliated skin

What they say
Eucerin Dermo Purifyer Toner clears the skin and prevents blemishes by providing intensive cleansing for the T-Zone and other problem areas.

Key ingredients
2% Lactic Acid - AHA extracted from milk. It weakens the bonds holding dead skin cells together. Helps lighten pigmentation and marks. Unclogs pores and exfoliates the skin without using beads/scrubs.

What is it
Essentially, this is a Lactic Acid based exfoliating toner. It works really well after cleansing to slough away dead skin, and reveal fresher skin. It helps to keep the skin clear and bright. It has a 'acid toner' scent, so very fresh and medicinal. Suitable for all skin types except maybe sensitive.

How I use it
I pour a few drops onto a cotton pad and wipe it across my face, eyes and neck. You can use it AM/PM after cleansing. Make sure to wear SPF after using AHAs and BHAs if going outside. It's very gentle and the smell isn't harsh. It smoothes the texture of the skin and helps give a brighter complexion. Follow this with a hydrating toner or serum.

Pros
- Affordable
- Suitable for most skin types
- Great basic acid toner
- Gently exfoliates
- Good amount of 2% Lactic Acid
- Sturdy bottle
- Doesn't dry out the skin

Cons
- Contains Alcohol Denat
Personally I don't have issues with Alcohol in my skincare. I have never had dryness from it. Even in other products, it doesn't react badly with my skin, but it might for you. You won't know until you try :)

Summary
What a find! If you've been on the hunt for an affordable acid toner,  I would give this a go. It's gentle but very effective. You can't really go wrong with a brand like Eucerin, but they're so overlooked! This is a very underrated product and I will definitely re-purchase it! Thanks for reading.

Eucerin Dermo Purifyer Toner Review

I have to say thanks to Dani before I get into the review. She showed this toner in her favourites and as soon as I heard acid and toner, well you know what happened. It's a bit unusual for me since it's Lactic Acid, most of my acid products are glycolic/salicylic. I've been testing it out for a few weeks now, and it's ready for it's close up.

Check out Dani's favourite video and her other tutorials here -

I've been enjoying this cleanser so much, that I almost said it was better than Emma Hardie, a big statement to make or even think. Whilst nothing can replace EH, this is just under it. Sorry for the delay of this post, I took the pictures and forgot to write the review. I've been terrible at blogging recently, I am making sure to keep up! I hope you enjoy.

The balm comes in a nice hand sized thick glass pot. It's not bad for travel.
Price - £39.95 for 75ml
Texture - Hard butter that melts into soft balm
Finish - Cleansed, glowing, clear, gorgeous skin

What they say
Rich in anti-oxidants to soothe and condition leaving the skin glowing and fresh. Dissolves and melts dirt, grime and makeup including eye makeup.

Key ingredients
Sunflower Oil - Rich in vitamin A & E which heal, protect and treat
Beeswax - Softens the skin
Shea butter - Improves micro-circulation and treats dry skin conditions
Jojoba - Reduces UV skin damage

What is it
This is a beautiful balm that deeply cleanses, nourishes and softens.  It cleans and removes all grime from the skin whilst giving an amazing glow. It's hard texture melts easily. It has a gorgeous herbal scent, very spa like and uplifting. Suitable for all skin types. Especially dry, dull and mature skins.

(balm)

(oil)

How I use it
I take a 5-10p blob and massage it across my face, eyes and neck. You can use this AM/PM. I tend to use it in the evening for a pamper and more luxurious cleanse. It also works great as a quick, almost mini facial in the morning too. The balm to oil texture lets it thoroughly cleanse and get rid of all grime and sweat. I do not use this as a makeup remover, its far too expensive and luxurious. The scent is so calming and soothing. This doesn't emulsify if you add water, it's too thick. I don't mind that but if you prefer to emulsify to a milk, it won't happen. Massage it through and remove with a hot flannel.

Pros
- Rich in vitamins and anti-oxidants
- Luxurious
- Gorgeous scent
- Good balm texture
- Adds glow and radiance
- Skin looks clear
- Full of amazing ingredients
- A little goes a long way

Cons
- Expensive for size
- Doesn't emulsify

Summary
I love this cleanser! It's a great one to have in your collection for when your skin needs more than a gel or milk. If you're not used to thick balms I'd try the Emma Hardie first. I will always re-purchase this. It gives such a gorgeous effect to the skin, you can't not try it. I use it a few times a week at least because of the price and size, but it's still well worth every penny. Thank you for reading!
