Cleansing is one of my favourite parts of my skincare routine along with facial steaming and triple masking. I personally find it super relaxing and I love having those ten minutes all to my self to just de-stress and wash away all of the grime from the day. As the weather has started to warm up I've really been enjoying opting for a simpler cleansing routine that features just three or four cleansers that I keep on rotation and use on and off throughout the week depending on how my skin is feeling.
four cleansers i'm currently loving blog post
Now that the weather is finally hotting up I've been loving using this cleanser two-three times a week to gently exfoliate and keep my skin clear. It contains a mix of Salicylic, Lactic and Glycolic Acid and has a beautiful light texture with a slight grit that isn't harsh or abrasive in the slightest. It's super gentle and leaves my skin beautifully soft and smooth. Full review coming soon!

Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser
I know you're all probably sick of hearing me talk about this cleanser but I had to mention it as I'm yet to find anything that I enjoy using more than this. Although it does remove makeup I prefer to keep this for 'skin cleansing' as it has the most beautiful balm-gel consistency which feels like heaven when you massage it into the skin. This is a great all-around cleanser that's suitable for all skin types. It has a gentle rose scent and the fact that it emulsifies means it's perfect for a quick morning cleanse.

DHC Deep Cleansing Oil*
When I first discovered cleansing balms my love for oils quickly faded and I found myself using them less and less. Then I kindly got sent this beaut from DHC and everything changed. I'm still not the biggest cleansing oil fan but when I want something silky and rich to destroy my makeup, this is what I reach for. The Olive Oil base removes every trace of makeup and dirt without clogging pores or leaving a greasy residue. Love!

Pixi Double Cleanse
Another favourite is this Pixi X Caroline Hirons collab which is one of the best and most universal cleansers on the market. It has two sections; a solid oil (basically a balm) and a cream. The idea is that you use the solid oil first to remove makeup and SPF and then follow up with the cream to give your skin a proper cleanse. It's fragrance-free and leaves the skin incredibly soft and hydrated. It's a must-have for Spring and Summer!
