It's no secret that I'm obsessed with face masks. I think they make such a big difference to the quality of my skin and no matter which one I use I always tend to see some kind of result. I've already talked about overnight masks in this blog post so today I'm going to focus on exfoliating and detoxifying masks.
Peter Thomas Roth Pumpkin Enzyme Mask - £39.50
If you're looking for some serious re-surfacing action then this is the mask for you. It uses Pumpkin Enzymes, Alpha Hydroxy Acids and Aluminium Oxide particles to buff and smooth the surface of the skin. You just leave it on for 3-7 minutes and then rinse it off with tepid water. It can be a little strong so I'd only recommend using it once a week at first.

Happy Place Cosmetics Chocoholic Face Mask - £14
On those days where my skin needs a little pick me up this is the mask I reach for. It's a really soft clay mask formulated with Kaolin, Glycerin, Aloe Leaf Extract and unrefined Cacau. One of the main reasons I love it is because it doesn't set extremely hard on the face like some other clay masks do. After 10 minutes my skin looks clear and feels lovely and soft. This is perfect for all skin types!

Palmer's Purifying Enzyme Mask - £5.49
This is the newest addition to my collection and so far I'm really enjoying it. This is also a Kaolin based mask but it also contains natural Papaya Fruit Acids to gently exfoliate and remove dead skin. It's also packed with moisturising agents like Cocoa Seed Butter, Shea Butter and Sweet Almond Oil. This one has a thick, creamy consistency which spreads really nicely over the face and leaves my skin feeling incredibly soft and balanced. If you're looking for a budget face mask that still packs a punch I would definitely give this a go!
