If there's one makeup item that can transform my face, it's tinted moisturiser. I'm always on the hunt for a new one and I now have a fairly decent collection with just about every texture, finish and price point you could think of. With Summer being a popular time of year for light bases, I thought I would show you my favourite tinted moisturisers and tell you which is best for what concern.
Best For Glow - Estee Lauder Enlighten EE Skintone Corrector SPF 30 - £35
On those days where my skin is looking dry and dull, I can always count on this to give me a super glowy, healthy base. It offers a very light coverage which is just enough to take down redness and give you a more even base. It contains SPF 30 which is great for those who tend to forget it or like an SPF free moisturiser. It's probably not the best for those with oily/blemish prone skin as it will draw attention to imperfections and probably make you look a bit greasy but if you have normal-dry skin and you want something that's going to give you a J-LO glow, you've got to check this out!

Best For Coverage - IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC Cream + SPF 50 - £30
What I love about this one is that although it is very full coverage, it still looks beautiful and natural on the skin, especially when applied with fingers or a damp sponge. A little goes a long way and it's a great one for those who suffer with acne, rosacea and other prominent skin concerns. It also has a built in serum which is formulated with Hyaluronic Acid, Peptides, Niacin and Vitamins A, B, C and E. This is definitely my favourite out of all of them and I love that it contains SPF 50!

Best For Flawless Skin - Pixi H20 Skin Tint - £24
This water based skin tint gives me such a flawless, glowy finish but is so lightweight and natural at the same time. I'm not sure how they've done it, but whenever I apply this with a damp sponge my base looks lovely and polished. It has great staying power and is perfect for those who don't like heavy textures or full on foundations!

Best For Normal Skin - bareMinerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream - £27
Whilst I do think this is a great product, it's definitely my least favourite out of the group. Compared to the others it just doesn't do that much for me. It does even out my skin tone and I do appreciate the SPF 30 and wide shade range but apart from that it's just not great for my skin. I also find it can be a little more obvious on the skin if you have dry patches or peach fuzz. I know this is a staple for so many people but for me personally, it's not my first choice.

Best For Teens - La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo+ Unifiant Light - £16.50
The tinted version of the original Effaclar Duo, this is designed to unclog pores, refine the skin's texture and provide a light coverage. It definitely helps even out the skin tone and whilst it does lightly cover my problem areas, I can't say it completely clears congestion over time. I love this simply because it's a great quick fix for when I need to pop out and I need something to cover my redness and discolouration. I would highly recommend it to teens as it's a great one for blemish prone skin!
