Who doesn't love a good old face mask to draw out all of their impurities? I'm always cleansing and protecting my skin with oils and SPF but sometimes even after double cleansing, my pores get clogged and start to look more noticeable (which I hate). I love smearing mud/clay masks on because I just know my skin is going to be super clear and flawless afterwards. If there's one product that really changes my skin, it's a mud/clay mask.
I did a Top 3 Exfoliating Serums post some months back and it was really popular so I thought I would share with you my 3 favourites deep cleansing/pore refining face masks! I hope you enjoy!

My favourites are -

Good Things Manuka Honey Radiance Face Mask
Amount - 100ml
Price - £5.99
Texture - Soft, wet clay
Clay based

Pixi Skintreats Glow Mud Mask
Amount - 30ml
Price - £18
Texture - Soft, mousse/cream
Mud based

Estee Lauder Night Wear Plus 3 Minute Detox Mask
Amount - 75ml
Price- £32
Texture - Light liquid
Clay based

All of these masks are targeted towards detoxifying and cleansing the skin. You can apply them daily or whenever your skin is breaking out/congested.
They all have different textures but all feel soothing and comforting on the skin. The Good Things is great for any skin type, especially people just getting into face masks. Pixi Glow Mud is best for people looking to get a glow, as the name suggests, and the Estee Lauder is perfect for when you want to refresh your skin before applying makeup. They can even be used as spot treatments when you get those inflamed breakouts that need calming.
I typically leave them on for a minimum of 10 minutes and maximum of 20. Once they've worked their magic I use a bit of warm water to break them down before fully removing with a flannel/muslin/face cloth. The water helps turn the mask into more of a milk which means I don't have to tug at the skin to remove them, although these masks do come off quite easily.
My skin always looks brighter, fresher and smoother after using the masks and my pores are practically non-existent.

If you've been suffering with congestion, blackheads or break outs check these masks out.

Thank you for reading!
