NYX Born To Glow Liquid Illuminator - Sunbeam - Review & Swatches

Everyone will know by now that I love me some glow. I was sporting the glow years ago when everybody else was caking on the powder. There's so many products available now for getting them glossy cheekbones. From palettes to foundations, almost every brand is bringing out something to make you glow. I had seen this liquid illuminator in a few YouTube videos and knew I had to try it out for myself. I picked up the lightest shade which is called Sunbeam and I'm obsessed with it! I know a lot of you are glow-addicts too, so I thought I'd do a little review with some swatches so you can see it in all it's glory. I hope you enjoy!

What is it

This is a beautiful liquid highlighter that gives amazing glow and luminosity. It's light texture blends easily into the skin with either fingers or a brush/sponge. Suitable for all skin types.

How I use it

I apply a pea sized amount to my cheekbones, nose bridge and cupids bow before foundation. As you can see from the swatch, it's very pigmented but that's great because you can sheer it out if you want to. A little goes a long way. It really gives you an intense radiant finish that you'd normally only get from layering a lot of powder highlighter. It comes in 4 shades so there's something for everybody. They are all either pink or peach based. I love the packaging, it's so convenient for travelling. The texture is really nice to apply but it sets very quickly so it's probably best to work in sections. This is the lightest shade which is very pink based.
