This is quite different to my usual blog posts but I thought it would  fun and interesting to compare two very similar products. Good brow pencils are quite hard to come by and nothing beats my beloved brow wiz, however I picked up the ever so popular archery pencil by S&G and I have to say, it's not too dissimilar. I'll be comparing price, texture, colour and results. I hope you enjoy.

Left Swatch - ABH Brow Wiz - Medium Brown
Right Swatch - S&G Archery - Brownie Points

Price and Quantity
Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz - £15.50 for 0.085g
Soap and Glory Archery 2 in 1 Brow Filling Pencil & Brush - £8 for 0.085g
With both pencils containing the same amount of product, obviously Soap and Glory is the better option if on a budget.

Packaging
The pencils come in almost identical packaging, apart from the coloured font. Both are travel friendly. The nibs are very fine on both pencils, so there's no real difference in the look of the product.

Texture
Brow Wiz has a firm but gentle application where Archery is slightly harder/drier in application.

Colour and Pigmentation
Both shades are a medium brown but Archery is slightly warmer with a more red undertone, which is more noticeable on the brows. The brow wiz is the perfect match for my dark neutral brows. Using the brow wiz pencil my brows are done in seconds but it can take longer with the Archery pencil because it's much lighter in pigmentation.

Lasting Power
They both last all day on me and neither rub off.

Summary
Have we found a dupe? Yes! Apart from being slightly warmer in tone, the Soap and Glory Archery Brow Pencil is a fantastic budget option for those who don't want to spend £15 on the brow wiz. I'll definitely be re-purchasing both of them.

Which do you prefer out of the two?

Thank you for reading.
