It took me a while to jump on the bandwagon with these masks as I wanted to hear what people thought before I rushed to buy them. After hearing pretty much all positive reviews I decided to purchase them with my £10 store credit which made them both just £20! How fab is that? I've been incorporating them into my skincare routine for a good couple of months and I'm ready to tell you what I think.
glossier face masks review
Mega Greens Galaxy Pack
I'm obsessed with detoxifying masks so I was super excited when I heard that they had released this. It contains White Kaolin Clay to purify, Avocado Oil to moisturise and soften and a Superfruit Antioxidant Blend to protect against skin damage. Unlike a lot of other purifying masks, this one has a really nice creamy texture that doesn't feel like it's sucking the moisture out of your skin. After cleansing, I apply a semi-thick layer and let it work for about 20 minutes. I love that it doesn't have much of a smell as sometimes strongly scented masks can be quite overpowering. This leaves my skin feeling super soft and clarified and it's great for those days when your skin needs a boost!

Moisturising Moon Mask
Hydrating masks are some of my favourite products to use as my skin is super dehydrated so anything that's going to give me plump, juicy skin goes straight into my basket. It works like a really thick moisturiser and you just apply it in a thick layer as the last step in your skincare routine, wait for 20 minutes, and then rinse away any excess (although I prefer to let it soak in overnight). It's formulated with Sweet Almond Oil, Squalane and Hyaluronic Acid to help smooth the appearance of fine lines and restore elasticity. My skin feels so plump and hydrated when I use this and I've really noticed a difference in the overall texture of my skin which is amazing! If you have dry/dehydrated skin, I highly recommend you try this!

As much as we all love trying out new beauty products, everyone has those go-to items that they love and can't be without. I love finding things that work for me and today I thought I would share with you five products that I will always repurchase. Spoiler alert - you can probably guess them all!

Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser
I'm not sure if this is my favourite Glossier product but it's definitely one that I can't be without! It's a mix between a balm and a gel and it does an amazing job of cleaning the skin without leaving it feeling dry or stripped. My skin has definitely been a lot calmer, softer and generally more well-behaved since I started using this. I can't recommend it enough!

IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC Cream SPF 50
If you've followed my blog for a while you'll know I absolutely adore this product. Even though I like my base to be quite fresh and dewy, I still need a fair bit of coverage as I have quite a lot of redness and pigmentation and this helps cover everything without looking heavy or cakey on the skin.

Peter Thomas Roth Pumpkin Enzyme Mask
Like the cc cream, this is another product that'll come as no surprise to any of you. My skin gets very easily congested so I love using this about twice a week to exfoliate and get rid of any dead skin that might be clogging my pores or making my foundation look dry and patchy. Although it is rather pricey, this massive tub will last you forever!

Primark PS Primer Water
Primer waters have become very popular over the past year or so and it's pretty easy to see why. This one has a super fine mist and helps to refresh and hydrate the skin, giving me the perfect base for my foundation. And it only costs a few quid! Bargain!

Glossier Generation G in Cake
I'm not very fussy when it comes to lip products as I usually just go for something nude and easy to wear but this does all that and a whole lot more! It's described as a 'sheer matte lipstick' and that's exactly what it is. This shade is a gorgeous peachy nude and is perfect for those no-makeup makeup days. I'm definitely going to be ordering a few more of these!

Over the past few months, I've found a new love for Charlotte Tilbury products. Ever since I purchased the Matte Revolution Lipstick in Pillow Talk, my wishlist has grown longer than my arm and now I want her entire collection! I actually have quite a few makeup products from her range and I today I thought I would share them with you!
Instant Look In A Palette | Natural Beauty
I lusted after this palette for so long but never had the courage to spend the best part of £50 on it. Eventually, it went on sale so I quickly snapped one up and I haven't looked back since. I love the convenience of this palette as you have pretty much everything you need to do a complete makeup look. The formulas are so smooth and blendable and I love that the shades are really subtle and wearable. It's also amazing for travel as it takes up hardly any room and stops me having to pack a ton of makeup!

Eyes To Mesmerise | Jean
I originally purchased this for my wedding makeup but for some reason, I didn't end up using it. I still absolutely adore this product and I'm loving it on those days when I want something quick and easy. It's a cream eyeshadow that has a gorgeous champagne sheen which really helps open up the eyes for a bright, wide-awake appearance. I definitely want to pick up a few more shades of these!

Light Wonder Foundation | 1 Fair
It's no secret that I love natural bases so naturally, I had to pick this up. When I first used this I wasn't that keen as I found it clung to dry patches but once my skin was properly exfoliated and moisturised, it gave the most beautiful, glowy finish. It has a super light texture which glides on the skin and blends like a dream and the SPF 15 makes it perfect for everyday!

Legendary Brows | Clear
Brow gel is a must for me as I have quite long hairs that like to move around throughout the day. One of the main things I love about this product is the tiny brush head as it makes it super easy to get every hair and really define and shape the brows. I also love that I purchased the clear shade as sometimes a brow pencil and tinted brow gel can be a bit overkill if you have dark hair like me.

Matte Revolution Lipstick | Pillow Talk
As I mentioned earlier there's something about this lipstick that really sparked my love for this brand and it's made me want to try products I wouldn't normally take a second look at. This shade was originally a Lip Cheat and because it was so well-loved, Charlotte decided to release it in lipstick form. It's a beautiful nude rosy-brown that looks amazing on everyone. Like, literally everyone! And despite being a matte formula, it's super comfortable and easy to wear. It's definitely a shade to swatch next time you're at a counter!

I can't remember the last time I did a haul on my blog. In fact, I think the last time I did one was back in October! I recently had a sudden urge to treat myself to some new products and I was also really craving a trip to the beauty counters. I ended up in Boots and well, some stuff happened...
boots haul 2018
L'Oreal Infallible Luminizing Primer Shot | £8.99
So L'Oreal have recently added a bunch of new products to their Infallible line and one of the things that instantly caught my eye was their luminizing primer. It has ultra-fine pearl pigments which help to enhance the complexion for a super-luminous finish. I've tried it on the back of my hand and it really does give an amazing glow! I love the packaging too!

Sukin Cream Cleanser | £7.95
It's been so long since I've tried a new cleanser and although I still love the Glossier one, sometimes it's nice to switch things up. Sukin has quite a few cleansers but I went for the cream formula as I wanted something gentle that I can use every day. It's formulated with Rosehip, Avocado, Wheat Germ and works to remove makeup and surface grime leaving the skin feeling clean and refreshed. I've tried it once and so far so good!

Dior Addict Lip Glow | £26
So this is my first ever Dior product. Can I get a hallelujah?! I can't explain how excited I was when I was paying for this! I'd heard so many people rave about their Lip Glows so I finally decided to purchase one for myself. They provide the comfort of a lip balm whilst giving you a sheer wash of colour. I got the shade 001 which is a gorgeous subtle pink. I'm also beyond obsessed with the packaging and I'm pretty sure I'm going to end up buying every shade because they're just so pretty!

You guys have heard me rave about this product quite a lot over the past few weeks and it got me thinking that it was about time I sit down and review it for you. I'd heard so many bloggers rave about this moisturiser but it wasn't until the lovely Jess told me that I needed it in my life that I finally decided to purchase it. My skin has been super dry lately and a lot of my current moisturisers haven't been hydrating enough for my prune-like skin but this has been working wonders!
kiehl's ultra facial cream review

The Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream retails at £24.50 for 50ml which isn't cheap but isn't super expensive either. It also comes in a massive 125ml tub which looks like it would last you a lifetime! It comes in a sturdy plastic tub and is great for travel. I love the simple packaging!

It has a lightweight texture that easily absorbs and continuously replenishes moisture making it perfect for daily use. It's specially formulated with Squalane which helps to moisturise and Imperata Cylindrica to retain water and protect the skin throughout harsh weather conditions. It's a richer alternative to the original Ultra Facial Moisturiser which is a lot thinner and is better suited those with an oily/combination skin. One of the main things I love about this product is that I can use it both morning and evening it works beautifully under makeup or on top of my serums and treatments. It has a lovely rich texture but it doesn't feel greasy or like it's just sitting on my skin and I've never had any breakouts when using it. I had quite a lot of redness and dry flaky skin over the Christmas period but this instantly left my face feeling soothed and hydrated. I also like that it doesn't contain SPF as it means I can use it at night but there is a new SPF 30 formula which sounds amazing!

I never thought I would get this excited over a face cream but I freaking love this stuff and I would highly recommend it to anyone struggling with dry/dehydrated skin!

I rediscovered Herbal Essences last year when I was kindly invited along to one of their events which was so much fun! They were actually the only haircare brand I used as a child as their products were the only ones that left my hair incredibly soft and hydrated without being weighed down. They've recently launched a new collection and it might just be my favourite range of theirs so far!
The new Daily Detox Shine Collection is formulated with White Tea and Mint and is designed to thoroughly cleanse your hair whilst leaving it beautifully soft and silky. The shampoo is 100% silicone, paraben and colourant free and the conditioner is pH balanced. They're also gentle enough to use every day and are both safe for colour treated hair. How amazing is that?

I'm always looking for a new shampoo and conditioner so I was really excited when I tried these for the first time. The Daily Detox Shine Shampoo* lathers up really well and does such a good job of cleaning my hair and removing any excess product or build up without being too harsh or stripping. It smells so fresh and I love that the scent lingers all day! I only have to cleanse once with this shampoo which is quite rare for me as a lot of other ones I've tried always leave some kind of residue in my hair. The Daily Detox Shine Conditioner* has a really nice texture that isn't super thin but not so rich that I can't wash it out properly. It leaves my hair feeling super soft and healthy and you can really see the shine once your hair is dry!

I'm obsessed with this duo and I would highly recommend checking it out if you're looking for a new affordable haircare range! They're also currently better than half price in Superdrug!

So today is Valentine's Day and although I'm one of those people who likes to use it as an excuse to get dressed up and do something fun with my partner, it's not just a day for couples anymore. Self-love is so important and it's something we all need to practise more often and seeing as it's the day to celebrate love, I thought I would share three different ways to spoil yourself. Go on, you deserve it!
ways to treat yourself this valentine's day
Buying new beauty products is one of my favourite ways to treat myself and whether it's repurchasing an old favourite or trying something from a different brand, it always puts a smile on my face. I also love finding gift sets and L'Occitane have some amazing gifts for women right now! They have everything from travel sets to soap trios but my personal favourite is definitely their Delicious Almond Collection! The entire range smells incredible!

Another thing I like to do is book a visit to the salon. I absolutely love having my hair and nails done as not only does it feel amazing to just sit there and take some time out but it also makes me feel super pampered and like I'm really taking care of myself. Even a quick trip to the threading bar will do! I'm hoping to get my nails done later this week and I can't wait!

That being said, you don't have to go out and spend lots of money to enjoy Valentine's Day. For me, nothing beats a cosy night in with a tub of Ben & Jerry's and Netflix. You can also take a nice relaxing bubble bath and use any fancy bath bombs and oils you've been saving. The L'Occitane Lavender Body Care Gift Set has everything you need to really indulge and treat your skin.

Anyone who knows me knows I'm all about radiant healthy skin. My goal is to look like a glazed Krispy Kreme doughnut. Just kidding. Sort of. Even when I was studying makeup at college I always preferred to focus on the skin and lips rather than the eyes. There's just something about glowy makeup that instantly gets me excited and today I thought I would share some of my top picks for achieving a flawless glowing base.
my super glowy makeup routine
The trick to achieving dewy, radiant skin is making sure you start with the basics. It's no good slapping on a £30 highlighter when the rest of your makeup looks dry and patchy. I like to exfoliate my skin with the Peter Thomas Roth Pumpkin Enzyme Mask at least once a week to remove dead skin and get rid of any texture. I'm also a big advocate of layering serums and moisturisers to make sure my skin stays plump and hydrated so that my foundation applies better. The Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream and Superdrug Simply Pure Hydrating Serum are some of my favourites!

Moving onto the makeup. I very rarely start my routine without a primer. Depending on your skin type you may want to go in with something mattifying or pore minimising but I love using the Primark P.S Primer Water to add another layer of hydration. I've recently rediscovered the Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Gel Cream and I'm so glad I did! It's a thinner consistency and has slightly less coverage than my other bb/cc creams but I think that's why I love it so much! It just has a much more natural finish on the skin and adds such a gorgeous sheen. I then move on to highlighter and I tend to opt for creams and liquids over powders as I can really build up the intensity without it looking powdery or obvious. My everyday pick is usually the Glossier Haloscope in Quartz but if I want something super high-shine I'll opt for my MAC Strobe Cream or the Makeup Revolution Liquid Highlighter in Starlight

After that, I use the Bourjois Radiance Reveal Concealer and KIKO Milano Radiant Fusion Baked Powder to cover any blemishes and set everything into place. Powder is a must for me as my t-zone gets fairly oily throughout the day and the last thing I want is my makeup turning into a greasy mess! To finish off my base I just apply a tiny bit of blush to add a hint of colour. At the moment I'm loving the Glossier Cloud Paint in Dusk and Clinique Cheek Pop in Ginger Pop.

Despite it being Winter my skin has been super oily and congested recently and I’ve had quite a few blemishes pop up around my chin and jaw that just wouldn’t budge. Enter T-Zone... If you're from the UK I'm sure you would have used or at least heard of this brand before. T-Zone is a high-street skincare brand that prides themselves on delivering a natural alternative to chemical ingredients, helping to gently purify and treat the skin, giving you a clearer, spot-free complexion. A lot of skincare products for oily/blemish prone skin can be very expensive but their Charcoal & Bamboo Range* is super affordable and is currently buy 1 get the 2nd half price in Superdrug until the end of February! It uses Activated Charcoal to absorb toxins and excess oil from pores, Bamboo Extract to control oil and Grapefruit to help soothe and keep the skin clear. I've been using the range for a little while now and I thought it was about time I give you my thoughts!
t-zone charcoal and bamboo range review
I love using purifying cleansers as they're great for getting rid of any excess oil and dirt that might be clogging the pores. I just take a couple of pumps and massage the cleanser into my skin and it turns into a lovely creamy lather. You can use it to remove makeup but I love keeping this for when my skin needs a really good cleanse. Once I'm done I just remove the cleanser with a hot flannel but you can rinse off if you prefer. It leaves my skin feeling super clean and soft but not dry or stripped like a lot of other face washes do. It's also mineral oil-free which is amazing!

Even though I love using exfoliating toners and serums sometimes my skin just needs a bit of physical exfoliation. When I first tried this scrub I was a little worried that it would be too harsh for my skin but it's actually really gentle! It has a creamy texture and the natural Bamboo granules do such a good job of buffing away all of the dead skin and deep cleaning my pores. My nose and chin get very congested but this has really helped keep everything smooth and clear. It smells amazing too!

Nose Pore Strips* | £3.99
I was so excited when I saw these in my parcel as I've really been into pore strips lately! Once a week I like to use one of these on my nose and chin and watch as they unclog my pores and draw out any impurities. They won't get rid of blackheads permanently but I love using them before an event or when I'm feeling particularly congested.

Although these aren't something I would use every day, they do a great job of removing makeup and cleaning the skin in a hurry. I prefer to use actual cleansers in my daily skincare routine but I would definitely take these with me when I'm travelling or if I know I'm going to be staying at someone's house and I need something to get my makeup off that little bit quicker! I also love that they don't leave any residue!

I'm a big fan of self-heating masks as I love the warming sensation on my skin. After cleansing, you apply the mask to the face and as you massage it in, it starts to heat up and this helps to open your pores and remove any impurities. My skin feels amazing after using this and I love that I can take these on the go with me!

Peel off masks were all the rage last year, especially on Instagram! I'll apply this in a semi-thick layer and leave it on for 20-25 minutes (or until it dries) and then start to remove it. I must admit there is something really satisfying about peeling this off the skin! I tend to use this just on my forehead, nose and chin as my cheeks don't get many blemishes. My pores are much less noticeable after using this and it's actually the first peel off mask I've used that doesn't hurt or pull on my skin! Yay!

No-Shine Papers* | £2.99
I love the idea of blotting papers as for me they're much more convenient than having to carry a setting powder and brush in my bag. I've used these a few times when my face started to get a bit oily and they did a such a good job of taking down the shine without disturbing my makeup. These would be great for anyone who goes to the gym or often finds themselves having to touch up their makeup throughout the day!

Living in separate cities to your family is hard. I've done it for three years and it still feels strange. In that time I must have travelled back and forth at least fifty times! But one good thing that has come out of all that travelling is me learning how to pack like a pro. Hubby and I will be heading back to Birmingham soon so I thought now was the perfect time to share some of my top travel essentials with you including my skincare and makeup routine and what I carry in my handbag.
my current travel essentials
The first thing I like to organise is my bag. I currently have a black tote from New Look and I love it. It's a great size and it fits all of my stuff without being too big. They don't have my bag anymore but this one is very similar! Inbetween travelling my bag always gets filled with receipts, old train tickets and a whole bunch of other junk so a little clear out is always a good idea. Obviously, the first things I pack are my keys, phone, purse and all of the other necessities. For the train journey, I also like to bring my iPad, a protein bar, tissues, hand sanitizer/anti-bacterial wipes, earphones, mints, painkillers, a pen and a mirror. Just call me Mary Poppins!

Moving on to beauty. I always like to have a Glossier Balm Dot Com in my bag as Hubby and I both get really dry lips. Hand cream is another essential and I'm currently loving the Hand Chemistry Pro-Repair Skincare For Hands. The final product in my bag is a Glossier You sample. These are super handy for touching up your scent throughout the day and they save me having to bring my full-size! They've actually just released this fragrance in a solid compact which looks amazing for on the go!

When it comes to packing my suitcase I like to keep things really streamlined. I'll have two separate bags, one for makeup and one for my skincare. This is where having a super simple beauty routine pays off! For skincare, I like to stick to a really minimal routine which usually consists of the Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser, Botanics 100% Rosewater Spritz, The Ordinary Lactic Acid 5% and the Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream. I'll also throw in some kind of detoxifying mask as my skin gets really congested when I travel. My makeup routine generally tends to stay the same and I always make sure to pack the IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC Cream SPF 50, Glossier Boy Brow, Haloscope in Quartz, MAC Soba Eyeshadow and Generation G in Cake

I thought I would quickly mention some of the hair and body products I'll be taking with me. As you all know I have extremely dry, eczema prone skin so the Sanex Advanced Hydrate 24H Shower Cream and E45 Moisturising Lotion are non-negotiable. Grow Gorgeous has been my favourite hair care brand for quite a while now and they've actually just brought out a new travel kit which I'm so excited about! The Three Steps to Gorgeous Regime Kit* contains minis of the Scalp Detox, 11-in-1 Cleansing Conditioner and a full-size bottle of their Hair Growth Serum! It comes in a gorgeous black and white wash bag and has everything you could possibly need to cleanse and condition your hair whilst your away! I can't wait to use it!

When it comes to concealers I like to think I know what's good and what's not. As someone who suffers from dark circles, pigmentation and a whole lot of redness, it's the one step I can't afford to skip. I'm sure I don't have to tell you that Makeup Revolution's latest launch has caused quite a stir in the beauty community. It was barely on the shelves five minutes and half of the shades sold out! It's also been dubbed as a dupe for the cult Tarte Shape Tape Concealer. I couldn't resist picking one up for myself and after giving it a fair trial, I'm finally ready to share my thoughts with you!
makeup revolution concealer review C1
The Makeup Revolution Conceal & Define Concealer costs £4 and you get 3.4ml which isn't an insane amount of product but for the price, you can't really complain. There are currently 18 shades available (soon to be 25), ranging from fair to deep and with a selection of different undertones. It comes in a small tube and has the cutest rose gold packaging. It has a large doe-foot applicator which is super soft and comfortable to use.

It claims to be lightweight yet full coverage and offers a long-wearing, matte finish that won't settle in fine lines or accentuate pores. At such an affordable price point, I was definitely a little sceptical. I purchased mine in the shade C1 which is for fair skin tones with a neutral undertone and is currently the lightest shade they do. Surprisingly it matches my skin tone perfectly which is quite a rare find - especially for a drugstore concealer! The formula is super creamy and pigmented but it doesn't feel heavy or thick in the slightest. The concealer is definitely full coverage and it's one of the only ones I've found that actually covers my dark circles and redness.

Once I've applied my foundation I like to dot this on the areas where I need more coverage which is usually under my eyes, around my nose and across my cheeks. My favourite way to blend it out is with a damp Miracle Complexion Sponge but you can definitely use a brush if you prefer. It blends out extremely well and I love that I don't have to apply multiple layers to get good coverage. One application is enough to get rid any discolouration and blemishes. It sets to a matte finish but I always like to go over my face with a bit of translucent powder. Throughout the day it will start to crease slightly under my eyes but I don't mind as this happens with every concealer I use and the overall staying power is the best I've ever found!

I'm absolutely obsessed with this concealer and I cannot say enough good things about it! For £4, you seriously can't go wrong! I really hope they bring out a matching foundation!

Have you tried this concealer? What are your thoughts?

I can't believe January is officially over! It seemed like it was never going to end! I also can't believe that I managed to write ten blog posts last month! Ten! I'm not going to lie, I'm pretty proud of myself! I have quite a few products to show you today including my new favourite moisturiser and the makeup primer I can't stop using!
january favourites 2018
Lee Stafford Coco Loco Coconut Heat Protection Mist | £5.99
I've used Lee Stafford products for years and I was so excited when they launched their coconut range a couple years back. I use a heat protectant every time I do my hair and this mist is my current go-to. It helps protect my hair from heat (obvs), and it also keeps it super shiny and soft.

Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser | £14
I've been loving using a lighter cleanser recently as my skin has been a bit temperamental and this one does such a good job of cleaning my skin without leaving it stripped or tight. I need to purchase a back-up asap!

The Ordinary High-Adherence Silicone Primer* | £3.90
Everyone raved about this primer when it first came out and usually I'm not a big fan of silicone products but this has completely changed my mind! The main reason I love it is because it doesn't feel dry or powdery on the skin. It blurs all of my pores and smooths over any texture, giving me the perfect base for foundation. I can't do my makeup without it!

Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream | £24.50
I've already featured this in a few recent posts so I won't drag on but essentially, this is the perfect moisturiser for anyone with dry, dehydrated or sensitive skin. It's a beautiful rich texture that instantly hydrates the skin without being too heavy. It's a must-have in my routine!

Glossier Cloud Paint in Dusk | £15
I'm obsessed with the Glossier Cloud Paints right now and I'm loving this shade in particular as it just gives the most gorgeous natural flush to the cheeks.

Collection Precision Contouring Stick in Light | £3.99
I've had this contouring stick for months but it got shoved to the back of my makeup drawer and I completely forgot about it. I've been using it for the past couple of weeks and I'm actually really enjoying it. It's not too grey or too warm and it blends out like a dream.

Grow Gorgeous Scalp Detox* | £28
I was so excited when this arrived in the post as I had been wanting to try a scalp exfoliator for a really long time. It uses Castor Oil Beads and Pomegranate Fruit Enzymes to gently exfoliate and unclog hair follicles, eliminating impurities, dry skin and dandruff. I love using this once a week to give my hair a really deep clean and promote better hair growth.

I've always been a perfume addict. Even when I was younger I used to fill my school bag with all of my SO...? body sprays and show them off to my friends at lunchtime. I love smelling nice and I'm always looking for a new scent to add to my collection. My latest addition is the Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy Eau De Parfum which was actually a Christmas present from my cousins (thanks, girls!). I've dreamed of owning a bottle ever since I was little and now I finally have one!
juicy couture viva la juicy perfume review
The first thing I want to talk about is the bottle. I mean, just look at it! I love everything about the packaging from the design to the cute little bow and charms around the neck. It's definitely the most luxurious perfume I own.

It's a sweet scent with a floral twist but surprisingly it's not heady or overpowering. The base notes include caramel, amber and vanilla, honeysuckle and jasmine as the heart notes and wild berries and mandarin to finish. I love that it's super feminine but doesn't lean to a specific age - it's definitely a scent that anyone can wear! I don't reach for it every day as I like to save it for when I want something slightly stronger than my Glossier You. I tend to do 3-4 spritzes and it wears beautifully throughout the day. It makes me feel super glam and chic but still quite young and fresh. It lasts really well on clothes too!

I think this is the perfect fragrance for those who love girly scents that aren't overly sweet. Plus the bottle is absolutely stunning! What's not to love?
