My Top 5 Body Moisturisers

Recently my 'body' skin has been dry and incredibly itchy. Anything can set it off such as shaving, rough clothing and stress, I think I am also getting eczemaRecently I've been testing out various body lotions/butters and conditioners, and I've found some gems that I think anyone can use. Here are my top 5 body moisturisers.

Lush Sympathy For The Skin
Price - £11.75 for 240g
Texture - Thin lotion
Finish - Soft, soothed skin

What they say
Please allow me to introduce myself, I'm a cream of wealth and taste. A rich cream of cocoa butter and bananas to soften the skin.

Key Ingredients
Cocoa Butter - Softening and conditioning
Bananas - Rich and nourishing
Sandalwood oil - Uplifting and soothing

What is it
This is a light lotion that soothes irritation, dryness and roughness to leave the skin soft and nourished. It is very strongly scented of bananas, vanilla and cream to me, so if you don't like those things, you probably won't like this. I use this when I need something that sinks in straight away, softens and calms quickly.

Pros
- Soothes irritation
- Leaves skin very soft
- Works quickly
- Lasts a long time

Cons
- Strong banana milkshake scent

Soap and Glory The Righteous Butter -Lotion
Price - £10 for 500ml
Texture - Medium cream
Finish - Soft, hydrated skin

What they say
Leaves skin softer, smoother and more supple! Conditions dry, flaky skin and reduces rough spots (on elbows, knees and heels).

Key ingredients
Shea butter - Deeply moisturising
Orange flower extract - Soothing

What is it
This is a great body cream (thicker than a lotion, thinner than a body butter) that moisturises without being too greasy. It has the typical Soap and Glory fragrance which I love. It sinks in quickly so I tend to use it after a shower before I get changed. Perfect for all year round.

Pros
- Smells amazing
- Moisturises
- A lot of product
- Sinks in quickly

Cons
- None

Lush Ro's Argan Body Conditioner
Price - £16.50 for 225g
Texture - Thick cream
Finish - Softened, beautiful skin

What they say
This is chock-a-block with delicious butters and oils to leave your skin looking plumped up, gorgeous and smelling of roses.

Key ingredients
Argan oil - Rich in essential fatty acids
Cupuacu butter - Conditioning and softening

What is it
I tend to use a shower gel before I use this to actually feel clean all over. Then I apply this mainly to my arms, legs and d├ęcolletage. I leave it on for a couple minutes then rinse it off, and once you're dry, you don't have to moisturise with a cream because its so hydrating. It has a warm, slight rose smell to me, which is good for me because I don't like strong rose scents. It's great for those who want quickness so they can come out the shower, get changed and go. It will also last a long time, not much is needed.

Pros
- Soft, warm scent
- Beautiful texture
- Very moisturising
-Lasts a long time

Cons
-None

This is a beautiful body butter that smells like juicy zesty fruit with a hint of the original soap and glory scent. It's quite thick but absorbs quickly. It smoothes straight away and leaves the skin super soft and nourished. Perfect for Spring/Summer.

Cons
- None

What is it
This is probably my favourite out of them all. It does everything I want from a body cream/butter/lotion. It smells like raspberry yoghurt (munch bunch), leaves my skin the softest and nourished and absorbs quickly. I love a thick butter but it doesn't feel greasy or too heavy, it's perfect for all year round. Every time I use this my routine just feels complete.

- Feels so smooth and rich
- Lasts a long time

Cons
- None

Summary
To sum up, these are my top 5 picks for body lotions and potions. They all hydrate, soothe and soften. Every one can find a scent they like, wether it be sweet, citrus or warm. With various price points and being quite easy to find, I think these are great if you're looking for a new way to pamper and nourish your skin.
