garnier ultimate blends hair food watermelon review

Last year I noticed my hair started thinning (quite a lot) and it started to really bother me but I'm done being upset about it and I've decided to make beautiful, healthy hair my beauty goal for 2021 and three months in, we're definitely getting somewhere! Unless you've been living under a rock, you probably would've seen the new Garnier Ultimate Blends Hair Food Range well... pretty much everywhere! The packaging instantly drew me in and after reading their formulas have up to 98% natural origins, no silicones and are vegan friendly (a rare sight for the high street), I knew I had to try them! Every scent is designed to target a different concern, I've previously used the Nourishing Banana Hair Food Trio which is a must-have for dry/damaged hair but they've just launched the new Watermelon collection which is specifically formulated for fine hair that needs plumping without being weighed down - it's like they created it especially for me!

Garnier Ultimate Blends Plumping Hair Food Watermelon Shampoo | I'm quite fussy when it comes to shampoo. It needs to be gentle on the mid-lengths and ends but clarifying enough to remove any buildup on my scalp. This shampoo lathers up really well and you get a burst of Watermelon & Pomegranate for a super fresh & fruity scent that lingers for days. I like to wash my hair maximum, three times a week and I always double cleanse. I find this method keeps my fine hair fresher for longer and helps my natural oils distribute better on the 'rest' days. For me, this formula definitely lives up to the plumping claims and I instantly notice my hair feels fuller and looks more voluminous - I'm obsessed! It's also super hydrating and I could definitely use this daily without worrying about my hair becoming dry. If you have a similar hair type to me I can't recommend this product enough!

Garnier Ultimate Blends Plumping Hair Food Watermelon Conditioner | I'm always swapping and changing my conditioners and a lot of the time they start to feel quite similar but since buying this I haven't reached for anything else! It sounds obvious but it just works so well with the shampoo! The rich, creamy texture leaves my hair unbelievably soft and tangle-free but is still lightweight and super easy to rinse out. If like me you really want your hair to stay smooth and fragranced for more than a day then this duo will be your new bestie. I also love how affordable and accessible the range is!

Garnier Ultimate Blends Plumping Hair Food Watermelon 3 in 1 Treatment Mask | These hair masks are being praised all over social media and for good reason! Not only do you get a massive 390ml tub for less than a tenner, but they actually work to repair and strengthen your hair after the first use. Formulated with Coconut Oil, Aloe Vera Juice, & Watermelon Fruit Extract, this 3 in 1 treatment deeply conditions and protects the hair from damage. You can use the mask in a variety of ways depending on what your hair needs. If my locks are looking dull and lacklustre I'll use a generous amount as a pre-wash treatment but if it's a particularly dry day I'll work it through the lengths post-conditioner for an extra silky finish. A small amount can also be used on wet or dry hair as a styling cream to help smooth flyaways and add a beautiful shine. I definitely won't be changing my hair care routine anytime soon! Garnier Hair Food is currently 2 for £8 at Boots so now is the perfect time to stock up! They also sell the full Hair Food regimes for £12 so you're essentially getting the hair mask free - what a bargain! I think I'll be trying coconut next... or papaya - gahh I can't decide!

Have you tried the Ultimate Blends Hair Food yet?
