There's been a lot of buzz surrounding Australian skincare recently so I was super excited when Alya Skin reached out to me and asked if I would like to try their extremely popular Pink Perfect Clay Mask* which is a godsend for anyone who struggles with large pores and congestion like me! I've been trying it out for a little while now and I thought it was time I tell you a bit more about it!
It retails at £30 for 120g which I think is pretty good value as a lot of face masks for this price usually contain just 30-50ml of product! It comes in this super cute plastic tub and is perfect for travel.
The mask is designed to brighten and purify the skin as well as tighten pores and reduce blemishes. It's great for all skin types including sensitive. The key ingredients include Kaolin Clay to remove toxins and pollutants, Aloe Vera & Pomegranate to calm inflammation and smooth the surface of the skin and also Witch Hazel to tone and speed up the healing time of breakouts. It's quite a thick mask but a little goes a really long way and it's very easy to spread on the skin which I love. I like to use it 2-3 times a week after cleansing to really deep clean my pores and reduce any redness I have going on. After about 10 minutes the mask dries down and feels quite tight so I like to emulsify it with a bit of warm water and then remove it with a flannel. My skin feels baby soft after using this and the overall appearance and tone is so much clearer and brighter and my pores look significantly smaller! It's definitely a great one to use before a night out/special occasion! What more could you ask for?
