I haven't bought new skincare in such a long time so the other day when I was strolling through Boots I decided to add a bunch of things to my basket. I've also used up quite a few products recently so I figured it was only right that I fill my empty cupboard space with more product - that's how it works, right? A couple things are repurchases but the rest are brand new so instead of rambling on, let's jump straight in!

Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge
I really needed a new sponge as I'd had mine for well over three months and it was starting to look a bit old and worn out. Sponges are my favorite tool for blending out foundation as they really push the product into the skin and give you a much more natural, polished finish. I know everyone seems to prefer the Beauty Blender but for me, nothing comes close to this little gem! It's a third of the price too!

Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish
It was only a matter of time before another one of these landed in my basket. I don't know what it is about this cleanser but it just manages to fix any skincare issue I have from dryness and flakes to congestion and redness. I love the fact its a cream as it makes it perfect for both morning and evening and it never fails to give me beautifully soft, clean skin!

Wet Brush Pro | Marble
There's so much hype around these hairbrushes but I just got so used to my Tangle Teezer that I never bothered picking one up. They're currently on offer in Boots and when I saw that there was a new Marble print I just couldn't resist! The brush is designed to help minimize pain, split ends and breakage and also make it a lot easier to get out knots and tangles! I can't wait to try it!

La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo+ Cream SPF 30
I was so excited when I saw this on the shelf as I've been looking for a new everyday moisturiser with a decent level of SPF that I can just throw on when I'm running errands. I didn't get on very well with the original version but I loved the tinted formula so I think I'm really going to enjoy this! I tried a bit of the tester on my hand and the texture is still super light and hydrating but now it protects against UVA and UVB rays - yay!

Clinique Moisture Surge Facial Spray
The heat is back in the UK which means I'm getting through my facial mists like there's no tomorrow! I've really stripped back my makeup routine and have been keeping it super simple with just a bit of base, brows and tinted lip balm but there are a few points during the day where I feel like I'm melting and need a quick spritz. I had a sample of this and absolutely loved it so decided to just go ahead and buy the full size. It's super hydrating but it doesn't leave a greasy film on the skin which is my biggest pet peeve with facial sprays. It doesn't have much of a smell and it's great for giving the skin a bit of extra hydration throughout the day.

What have you picked up from Boots recently?
