So recently I've been switching up a few of the products in my everyday foundation routine and I've been super happy with how they've been making my skin look. I've had a lot more redness and pigmentation than usual *insert sad emoji* so I knew I needed to change some of the products I was using. It's a fairly minimal routine and I love that I can just throw everything on, blend it all out with a sponge and be done.
I always like to start with a primer even when I've moisturised as my skin is quite dehydrated and often shows dry patches through my foundation. I usually go for something glowy and hydrating and I've recently started using the Becca Backlight Priming Filter which is one of the best pre-foundation bases I've ever tried! It does an amazing job of smoothing out the skin and blurring imperfections whilst giving the most gorgeous, dewy sheen. At first, I was worried it was going to look really glittery and obvious but it just makes your skin look really fresh and your foundation apply 100x better.

Depending on how my skin is looking that day I'll either go in with something really lightweight and natural or super full coverage. At the moment I'm loving the IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC Cream because it has a glowy finish, gives me sun protection and covers pretty much everything! I find it works really with the primer as they both have a really smooth, creamy texture that glides over the skin. To cover any blemishes and dark circles I just apply a small amount of the Glossier Stretch Concealer. After my base is fully perfected I like to apply a light dusting of the KIKO Radiant Fusion Baked Powder which helps set my foundation without looking cakey or heavy on the skin.
