Welcome back peeps! I hope you've all had a fab start to 2016! I wanted my first blog post of this year to be a bit different. So today, I'm doing a makeup first impressions. I've been really curious about Makeup Revolution for a while, so I picked this up from Superdrug to try out. I haven't even swatched it yet because I want you to see my very first thoughts. Hope you enjoy!

The correctors come in a shiny, plastic palette which roughly fits along your hand. I think it would be quite good for travel.
Price - £6 for 8 shades
Texture - Cream
Finish - TBC

What they say
The Makeup Revolution corrector palette contains 8 creamy, blendable colour correction creams to colour correct and balance on all complexions. The correcting shades in this palette are professionally chosen to balance out any discolourations as well as concealing blemishes with a natural finish.

What each colour corrects
 Pink - Brightens
Lavender - Neutralises yellow tones
Green - Neutralises redness
Orange - Neutralises blue tones
Peach - Helps to balance out slight discolouration
White - Adds natural highlight and brightens
Cream - Neutralises purple & covers dark areas
Brown - Balances ashiness in medium to dark skin tones

What is it
This is all you need to correct and perfect your skin before applying your foundation. The hand size palette makes it the ultimate kit for on the go or at home. A shade for every concern - redness, dark circles, sallowness etc. Suitable for all skin types.

How I will use it
After primer and before foundation, I will use the correctors to counteract certain problem areas on my face. The shades I will get most use out of, are the green, peach and yellow.  There's also a white shimmery shade which I'll use for highlighting. I swatched some of them in store and they did have a nice creamy texture, which blended nicely.

Pros
- Really affordable
- Good amount and mix of corrector shades
- All creams
- Nice slim packaging
- Good for travel

Cons
- Will they actually apply and sit nicely on the skin?
- Do the shades actually correct?
- Are they easy to work with?

Summary
I know I can't give you too much detail yet, but I'm so excited to try them! If they do live up to my expectations, I won't need another corrector again. The value for money is great too, so it's not like I'm losing a lot if I don't enjoy the palette. If you have tried this palette or any other Makeup Revolution products, let me know your experiences on here or Instagram/Twitter.
