Skin care is more important to me than my make-up. Without good skin you won't have good make-up. My current routine is working amazingly and I want to share it with you.

1st Cleanse
On a day I'm wearing make-up, I will do two cleanses. The first either with the Simple Cleansing Wipes or Garnier Miceller Water. Neither of these products are amazing skin care items, but they do the job of removing the majority of my make-up. Better alternatives are cleansing oils or balms.

2nd Cleanse
The second cleanse will remove any remains of make-up and actually cleanse the skin. The one I'm currently using is the Super Facialist Salicylic Acid Anti Blemish Purifying Cleansing Wash. Using a 10p size amount, the gel lathers but does not foam, then I just wash it off with warm water and pat my skin dry. It leaves the skin feeling clean and refreshed but not stripped.

Acid Tone
Acid toning exfoliates and resurfaces the skin. I use the Garnier Pure Active Pore Purifying Toner. This is gentler than using an exfoliating scrub and can be done everyday. Just pour some onto a cotton pad and sweep over the face and neck. I have used this particular one for years and is a great inexpensive acid toner. I still use a scrub but only once or twice a week.

Hydrating Tone
This is the first stage of adding moisture. My favourite spray toners are the Lush ones. Just look for a toner that will hydrate. You can spray directly onto your face but I like to apply it with a cotton pad most of the time.

Eye Cream/ Gel
My current eye gel is an inexpensive one from the Boots Botanics range. It's a roller ball application, and I pat the gel all around my eye area. For the price it works really well at soothing the eyes and hydrating the skin.

Serum
Serums are a great way to give extra to your skin. This one by Yes To Grapefruit is aimed at uneven skin, dark spots and pigmentation. I can't say I have noticed a huge difference in my pigmentation but it is a nice serum. It feels soft on the skin and my moisturiser sits nicely on top of it.

Moisturiser
I love this moisturiser! It feels really soft and moisturises the skin beautifully. It absorbs nicely and leaves you looking hydrated and glowy. The skin feels amazing the morning after. I will definitely repurchase it.

Lip Care
Not much to say but this a really moisturising lip balm with SPF 15. Soothes the lips and makes them feel pretty and soft.
I will do an update when my night time routine changes. I recommend all of these products and think most people will like them. Thank you for reading.
