I've been a fan of Yes To for a couple of years now. For those who aren't familiar with the brand, they pride themselves on creating products that are gentle, natural and most importantly, effective. All of their haircare and skincare has a minimum of 95% natural ingredients and is paraben, silicone and chemical sunscreen free. I'd never tried any of their cleansers before this one but I'm so glad I gave it a go. In the UK it's quite difficult to find affordable cream cleansers that actually work, but this one has really impressed me...
The product comes in plastic squeezy bottle with a flip cap. Ok for travel.
Price - £7.99 for 118ml
Texture - Medium-thick cream
Finish - Clean, soft, glowing skin

What they say
Catering specifically for dry skin, the yes to Coconut Ultra Hydrating Cream Cleanser gently refreshes your complexion without over-drying or uncomfortable tightness.

Key ingredients
Virgin Coconut Oil - Moisturising and rich in fatty acids
Avocado Oil - Protects and nourishes the skin
Chia Seed Oil - Packed with Omega 3 oils

What is it
This is a gentle cream cleanser that removes excess oil and grime without stripping the skin's moisture barrier. It's semi-thick texture makes it very comforting and nourishing when massaging the product into the skin. As you can imagine, it smells of coconut heaven. Suitable for all skin types.

How I use it
I like to take a 10p size amount and massage it into the skin, taking it over the eyes and slightly down the neck. After 1 minute I remove the product with a warm flannel. You can emulsify if you prefer. This is good for both your morning and second evening cleanse. Personally, I don't think it's very effective at removing makeup. My skin looks clean, fresh and healthy after using this cleanser. And it feels really soft too!

Pros
- Affordable
- Good size
- Ok for travel
- Hydrating and softening
- Not stripping
- Nice scent
- Rich texture
A little goes a long way
- Good for all skin types

Cons
- Not great for makeup removal

Summary
I've become quite addicted to this product. With it's rich texture and hypnotising scent, I love it for perking me up in the morning. It's not the most exciting or high tech cleanser I've ever used, but it does get the job done. If you're looking for something affordable that won't leave your face feeling dry or stripped, this could be perfect for you!

Makeup brushes are often overlooked as we tend to get more excited over the latest eyeshadow palette or highlighting powder rather than the tools we use to apply them. But I'm a firm believer that good quality makeup brushes are the secret to a flawless face. After realising I've never spoken about my brushes, I thought I would show you my top picks. I hope you enjoy!

Real Techniques
Sculpting Brush - I use this for all of my cream products. I can do my foundation, concealer, blush, highlighter and contour with this brush. It's one of my absolute faves!
Expert Face Brush - This is my go to for foundation. It buffs the product well into the skin without leaving streaks or patches.
Contour Brush - As the name would suggest, this brush is perfect for contouring. The synthetic bristles work with liquids, powders and creams, meaning you can use your favourite contouring product and it will always look flawless.
Nic's Pick Cheek Brush - I love the slightly tapered shape of this brush. It makes it so easy to apply powder to bigger areas of the face. It's also great for blusher and bronzer.
Fan Brush - I use this solely to highlight the tip of my nose and cupids bow. Personally I don't think it spreads product out very well, so I keep it for placing product rather than blending.
Setting Brush - No matter what makeup look I'm doing, I'll always find a use for this brush. Seriously, there's nothing it can't do. I use it for setting under my eyes, applying highlighter, and if I'm desperate, I'll even use it on my eyes!
Deluxe Crease Brush - I've recently discovered that I prefer using a sponge for my under eye concealer but if fancy using a brush, this is what I'll use.

Sigma
F35 - This is my holy grail highlighter brush. Because it's tapered to a point, it makes it great for hitting all of the high points of the face. I even use it for my inner corner highlight.
E40 - When I apply eyeshadow I usually start with a base colour and then a transition shade. This is my go to brush for both steps.
E55 - I love this one for packing colour on the lids or applying a brow bone highlight.
E30 - Pencil brushes are fab for blending out eyeshadow under the eyes and this one from Sigma always holds it's shape.
E25 - This famous dupe for the MAC 217 is a massive staple in my collection. A fluffy, white-haired blending brush is one of the best tools you can own.

Louise Young
LY23 - I like to think of this brush as my secret weapon. It's the best thing I've ever found for applying gel liner and creating wings.

So there you have some of my must have makeup brushes.
Can you spot any of your faves?

If you're a regular reader of my blog you probably would have already seen this product in my 'What I Got For Christmas 2016' blog post which I posted a couple weeks back. This GlamGlow face mask was a gift from my best friend and I can't thank her enough for getting me such an awesome present! I constantly see this mask being used by YouTubers, fellow beauty bloggers and even big name celebs. Originating from Hollywood, all of the GlamGlow masks are designed to give you clear, bright, camera ready skin. The range has a multitude of masks catering for all different skin types but the one I'm reviewing today is specifically aimed at detoxifying and clarifying the skin. I've been testing it out ever since I got it and I'm very quickly becoming obsessed with it...
The mask comes in a small, heavy, metal jar. Ok for travel.
Price - £39 for 34g
Texture - Thin, soft clay
Finish - Clear, radiant, refined skin

What they say
Our most Advanced Clearing Treatment. Developed by GLAMGLOW® to help fight common skin concerns. Designed For Men & Women. SUPERMUD® for Super Clear Super Poreless-looking Skin.

Key ingredients
Glycolic Acid - Weakens the bonds holding dead skin cells together
Salicylic Acid - Unclogs pores
Lactic Acid - Exfoliates the skin, reducing visible signs of ageing
Kaolin - Draws out impurities
Cucumber Extract - Soothes and calms irritation

What is it
This is a clay mask that helps to detoxify and unclog pores whilst the Alpha Hydroxy Acids gently exfoliate, revealing a bright, smooth complexion. It has a slight minty/liquorice scent which I personally really like. Suitable all skin types except sensitive.
How I use it
After cleansing, I apply a semi thick layer to the face avoiding the eyes. It starts to dry quite quickly so it doesn't need to be left on for too long. About 15-20 minutes is enough. You can use this AM or PM but you need to follow up with SPF. I like to use a bit of warm water to emulsify the mask which makes it come off really easily with a flannel. After using the mask my skin looks and feels more refined and my pores are pretty much non-existent. It doesn't dry out the skin or leave it feeling tight which is fab as a lot of clay masks can leave my skin feeling like a prune. I would only use this 2 or 3 times a week as it's quite a strong mask and a little goes a long way.

Pros
- Nice packaging
- Thin texture (easy to apply)
- Dries quickly
- A little goes a long way
- Minty scent
- Leaves skin clear and glowy
- Doesn't dry out skin
- Chemically exfoliates
- Easy to remove

Cons
- Expensive
- Strong scent
- Not suitable for those with sensitive skin

Summary
This is such a good mask to use when you're skin is breaking out and your pores are clogging like there's no tomorrow. It could even be used a spot treatment. Even though it's got a hefty price tag, I personally think it's one of the best face masks out there, and I've tried quite a few! If you've been considering trying it, I'd say go for it!

There are certain products that you will see almost every beauty blogger raving about at some point in time, and this mask is no exception. I had seen this in multiple skincare routines and blog posts but never really understood what all the fuss was about. One day whilst browsing on LookFantastic (one of my favourite online retailers), I saw that it was on offer for just £13. It was too good of an offer for me to not buy it! Now that I've had the chance to try it out for myself, I'm finally starting to see what everyone has been talking about...
The product comes in a squeezy tube with a twist off cap. Good for travel.
Price - £21.99 for 75ml
Texture - Soft cream
Finish - Clear, glowing, moisturised skin

What they say
Achieve naturally cleansed, soft and supple skin with the Antipodes Aura Manuka Honey Mask, a unique and effective face mask perfect for use twice a week. It contains a formula that's been a traditional remedy of the New Zealand Maori people, with antibacterial manuka honey with fragrances of vanilla and madarin for a refreshing twist.

Key ingredients
Manuka Honey - Antibacterial and healing
Avocado Oil - Rich in Omegas 3, 9 & Vitamin E
Grape Seed Extract - High in antioxidants
Vanilla & Mandarin - Adds subtle fragrance

What is it
This is a beautiful face mask that moisturises the skin whilst purifying at the same time. It's antibacterial properties help to prevent breakouts and sooth irritation. It has a gorgeous light scent of vanilla and mandarin which makes it a treat to apply. Suitable for all skin types.
How I use it
After cleansing I apply a thick layer all over my face. I normally leave it on for about 15-20 minutes or until it slightly dries. You can use this AM or PM. Because the mask has a cream texture, it's very comfortable to wear and doesn't set hard or start cracking. The scent is sweet but subtle and it's definitely one of the nicest smelling masks I've ever tried. I remove the product with a warm flannel and straight away I notice that my skin is soft, hydrated and plump. I've also noticed that any breakouts or blemishes look much less angry and inflamed after using the mask. Score!

Pros
- Mid priced
- Nice scent
- Cream texture
- Feels comfortable on the skin
- Travel friendly
- Moisturises
- Purifies
- Great for all skin types and concerns

Cons
- None

Summary
If you have skin, you need this mask. It's such a great multi-tasker and I find myself reaching for it 4/5 times when my skin needs a bit of a treat. Everyone needs a tube of this in their life...

I love a good old pamper session, especially around this time of year when it's too cold to want to do anything. To me, there really is nothing better than being at home, wrapped up in a dressing gown, drinking your favourite hot chocolate and binge watching chick flicks. I know, I'm so life goals!
This routine covers everything from my skincare essentials to my favourite Winter candle. I hope you enjoy it!
Step 1
The first thing I like to do is light a candle. It doesn't matter what size or scent, as long as it's something that clears your mind and sets the mood. I find the Yankee Candle Candy Cane Lane to be very appropriate for this time of year. It gives off just enough scent without being over powering.

Step 2
Then I like to start my skincare routine. I don't really do anything new for my cleansing and toning but I always like to use a mask when I'm having a pamper. Recently I've really been enjoying the REN Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask. Formulated with 5% Glycolic Acid, this mask helps to exfoliate, brighten and smooth the skin. Once I've removed the mask, I like to follow up with something that's going to hydrate and moisturise my skin. The Oils Of Life Intensely Revitalising Facial Oil from The Body Shop is my go-to and sometimes I use the Twin-Ball Face Massager with it to help with lymphatic drainage and puffiness.

Step 3
I know a lot of people enjoy doing their nails as part of a pamper routine but personally I find it to be a bit of a chore, however I still like to moisture my hands and feet to stop them getting dry and flaky. Soap and Glory Hand Food and Heel Genius are some of the best creams I've found for this!

Step 4
Now it's time to make a hot beverage. If I'm not particularly bothered, I'll usually just make tea, but if I feel like something slightly more indulgent, it's gotta be a cup of Maltesers Hot Chocolate. This stuff is the bomb!

Step 5
Finally it's time to snuggle up in bed with some entertainment. I think books are perfect for winding down and I'm currently re-reading Sali Hughes Pretty Iconic, which has become a firm favourite of mine! When it comes to picking a film I'm not very fussy, as long as it's kinda girly and a bit rude. For me, Bridesmaids ticks all the boxes...

I really hope you enjoyed this post guys and don't forget to tell me your pamper routine tips and tricks!

I know I'm a bit late with this post but I really wanted to show you guys some of the beauty products that I got for xmas! I was lucky enough to get some amazing presents and I'm so grateful to those who bought them for me! I picked up two of the items myself during an online haul and the other two were gifted to me. I hope you enjoy seeing what I got and I just want to quickly disclaim that this is in no way trying to brag or show off what I got. Just wanted to put that out there!

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit - Surreal Light
This is the second Ambient Lighting palette from Hourglass and I think it's safe to say that it met the expectations of every beauty lover out there. Unfortunately I missed the chance to get the first one, so actually having this in my collection makes me very happy. Even though the shades in the first palette are more suitable to a fairer skin, the Surreal Light palette has a gorgeous mix of nude, tan, pink and peach, to suit a wider variety of skin tones. I also can't get over the packaging. It's pure marble perfection. Thanks Hubby!

GlamGlow SuperMud Clearing Treatment
I just have to say, my best friend is truly amazing! On top of being my Maid Of Honour and the person I can turn to for anything, she buys me gifts like this! Dani, I love you! GlamGlow masks have been on my wish list for years and I'm so excited to finally be able to try one of them for myself. This treatment contains Glycolic, Salicylic and Lactic Acid to gently exfoliate the skin whilst Kaolin helps to draw out impurities and detoxify. I've tried it out once and so far I really like it. I saw a noticeable reduction of congestion and blackheads and my skin looked healthier and brighter overall. I'll have a full review up in the next few weeks!

Tangle Teezer The Original Candy Cane Hair Brush
I am so glad I found this in the sale on LookFantastic! I needed to replace my old Tangle Teezer as it was starting to look a bit grim and I didn't feel comfortable using it on my hair anymore. I love anything candy cane related so for £7.40, it was a no-brainer. Get it while you can folks, it's a limited edition!

Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Pink Pepper & Mint
This is another limited edition that I just had to have in my collection. It has the same wonderful properties and ingredients as the original, with the added bonus of freshly crushed mint and warm pink peppercorn. The original is a firm favourite in my skincare routine and I cannot wait to try this twist on the classic.

So there you have the beauty gifts that I got for Christmas! Did you get any of these products?

Thank you so much for reading!
