I love face masks and I love Estee Lauder, put them together and what have you got? A beautiful thang. I'm becoming quite addicted to EL products because of their amazing quality and luxury. Most of you will know I'm crazy about the Enlighten EE Cream which is the perfect summer base product. I'm also testing out a couple other bits, so stay tuned for more EL reviews. I picked up this face mask because Anna (VDM) mentioned it in a blog post and I really liked the look of it. I've been using it for a while now and I just can't get enough!

The mask comes in a teal plastic time with a god cap. Packaging is very pretty. Good for travel.
Price - £32 for 75ml
Texture - Soft, wet clay
Finish - Clear, soft, bright skin

What they say
Liquid-light clay mask dries in minutes, drawing out built-up impurities to liven up lacklustre skin. Immediately, skin feels refreshed and incredibly smooth. Looks clarified and revived, with an unstoppable healthy glow. Helps absorb accumulated toxins and debris, so pores look reduced and skin is reset to a beautiful balance.

Key ingredients
Kaolin - Absorbs excess oil and rebalances
Gentian Root Extract - Anti-inflammatory

What is it
This is a lovely clay mask that absorbs excess oil, clears out pores and leaves skin feeling fresh but not stripped. It spreads evenly across the face and starts to dry after 2-3 minutes. It's a gentle mask that doesn't irritate the skin. The scent is very cucumber-y which I love. Suitable for all skin types.

How I use it
After cleansing, I apply a semi thick all over my face leaving two spaces around my eyes. It starts to dry quite quickly so it's great for a quick refresh throughout the day, or if you need to take off makeup and reapply. The mask is a light grey/white colour so you will look a bit ghostly. I leave it on for 10 minutes and then remove with a hot flannel. It comes off very easily so you don't have to tug or pull on the skin. My skin looks very refined after using this mask but I still look healthy and glowy.

Pros
- Good size
- Travel friendly
- Fresh cucumber scent
- No scratchy particles
- Refines and smoothes
- Skin looks clear
- Quick fix for oily skin

Cons
- None

Summary
I love using this mask when I need something quick but super effective. It has a gorgeous soft light texture which is so easy to apply and remove. I can tell I'm going to get a lot of use out of it throughout Summer on those days I'm looking greasy. If you're looking for a 'treat' face mask or just something simple that still packs a punch, I would definitely try this one. Thanks so much for reading!

I love using brushes to apply my base, especially when they make it super quick and effortless. I see a lot of hype around brushes from Zoeva, Morphe and Sigma, but since my Real Techniques collection is enough to last me a lifetime, I never actually bother to buy ones from other brands.
Recently I saw both ViviannaDoesMakeup and Lily Pebbles rave about the new foundation brush from Clinique and I immediately knew I had to try it. After testing it out for a couple of weeks, I have to say, I'm impressed...

I really like the design of the brush, it's simple but modern. The brush comes in a protective pouch which is handy for travel.
Price - £28
Texture - Super soft
Finish - Even, smooth application

What they say
Versatile brush with densely-packed bristles gently buffs foundation into the skin.

Key Claims
- Creates a smooth, even canvas
- Can be used with liquid, cream and powders
- Antibacterial technology to ensure the highest level of hygiene

What is it
This foundation brush has densely packed bristles, surrounded by longer bristles that blend product into the skin quickly and effortlessly. It gives a flawless finish that doesn't look heavy or like there's foundation sitting on the skin. It's a cross between a buffing brush and a stippling brush. The brush is so soft and is the perfect size for my face. Suitable for all skin types.

Pros
- Nice handle length
- Soft bristles
- Washes easily
- Multiple coverages
- Buffs in foundation beautifully
- Doesn't leave streaks or patches
- Works will all formulas

Cons
- None

Summary
I love everything about this brush. It really does give you that perfect finish. It may not be the most glamorous brush in the world but it sure is good at doing what it's supposed too. Well done Clinique, you have created my new favourite makeup brush!

As much as I love shopping in department stores for beauty products, the chemist/drugstore always excites me more because of the vast variety. I love trying out new bits and shops like Boots and Superdrug make it too easy to walk away with a bag full of goodies. Over the past few weeks I have collected some brand spanking new products and today I'm going to give you my first impressions. I hope you enjoy guys!

Makeup Revolution Iconic Lights & Contour Pro Palette - £8
I saw a picture of this palette on Instagram and knew I had to pick it up. It's a very obvious dupe for the NYX Highlight & Contour Pro Palette. There are four highlighters (2 shimmers) and four contouring shades (1 shimmer). The packaging is quite cheap to be honest but I do still like it. The shades might not work for deeper skin tones. I don't contour very often, especially with powders, but this looks like a great solid palette for getting more into it. I will post a full review soon.

Sleek Makeup Matte Me - Shabby Chic - £4.99
Sleek have launched quite a few new shades in their Matte Me range and I knew I had to try one. Shabby Chic is a gorgeous medium pink shade. The texture is still smooth and creamy and it dries down to a matte finish. I'm very impressed. I might head back to Superdrug and pick up Velvet Slipper...

Soap and Glory Shower Jelly - Original Pink - £5.50
I was so excited when I saw these in Boots. Hubby and I are huge fans of the shower gels and scrubs, so we knew we had to try one of the shower jellies. I went with the original scent but they also have Sugar Crush, which is more zesty. The packaging is so girly and fun, and I love how much product you get. It's a whopping 250ml so it should last us a while! I haven't used it yet, but it's designed to emulsify from a jelly to a very creamy lather. How good does that sound?
I will give it a go soon and let you know how it compares to my beloved Clean On Me Shower Gel

Sleek Makeup Cream Contour Kit - Light - £10.99
The palette comes in Light, Medium and Dark.
Some of you may have already seen me talk about this in my latest Youtube video, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ilT-9WwoJPw.
The more I use it, the more I like it. The packaging is nice and sturdy, good for travel. The formula is creamy and easy to blend, but not too creamy that it melts off your face. You can get a sheer or heavy coverage depending on how you apply the product and I love that. I have the 'Light' palette which works great on my fair skin tone. If you've been considering purchasing the ABH Cream Contour Kit but aren't totally sold, I would definitely give this one a go instead.

Soap and Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Nude Lipstick - Barely Pinking - £9
I'm 50/50 with the new lipstick range from S&G. I love the formulas, packaging and pay off, but I'm a bit disappointed with the  shade range, especially in the nude line. Most of the colours look like the same sandy brown tone and don't look like they would be flattering on anyone. I really think some of the colours need to be swapped out.
This shade however, I adore! It's a beautiful pink/brown neutral. This is a shine finish so it applies quite sheer, but you can build up the intensity. For me, it's the perfect everyday spring/summer shade. The packaging is more sophisticated than other S&G items and I think it looks much better, higher quality. I also think they smell really nice. Strange I know. It's identical to MAC, obviously that doesn't matter if you don't like the scent of MAC lipsticks, but I personally love it.

Is there any new products you've found recently that you think I should try? Thanks so much for reading!

This wasn't a planned post, but I thought it would be fun to show you what I picked up yesterday in the Bromley MAC store. I love to have a browse in MAC, but most of the time I walk away empty handed because there's nothing new worthy of a purchase. I find myself swatching all of the lipsticks I already own and then walking out. #bloggerproblems
Right, let's get into the haul, I hope you enjoy!

MAC Strobe Cream Travel Size - £10 for 30ml
This was a big ViviannaDoesMakeup enabled purchase. I saw her using it recently and she raved about how it made her skin glow. You know I'm all about the glow.
It can be used as a primer, highlighter or even mixed in with foundation or moisturiser for subtle luminosity. It has a pearly iridescent finish that isn't shimmery or chunky. I picked up the travel size as I've heard a little goes a long way and I didn't really want to spend £24.50 on a 50ml bottle!

MAC Prep and Prime Fix+ - £10 for 30ml
Everyone knows about Fix+. It's a refreshing face spritz infused with green tea, camomile and cucumber. It can be used before or after makeup to hydrate and give skin a dewy finish. I had one years ago and quite enjoyed it so I thought I'd pick up another mini bottle.

MAC Pro Longwear Waterproof Colour Stick - Tea Leaves
£16 for 1.4g
I love a good cream eyeshadow and was so excited to the range of Pro Longwear shadow sticks. There was a good selection of colours from white to black and almost everything in-between. The one I had to have was Tea Leaves. It's a slightly warm taupe/bronze and I absolutely love it. I know this will become my new favourite eyeshadow. I swatched it on my hand, and later in the day, wiped strong hand sanitiser over all my swatches and this stayed perfectly in place. I was shocked. These Colour Sticks mean business.

Have you picked up anything from MAC recently that you're loving? Let me know if there's something you think I will love!

It's no surprise to my regular readers that I'm partial to a bit of glow. I love to layer on products until I look almost sweaty. The dewy-er the better in my opinion. This isn't always easy to achieve as sometimes skin can be dull, dehydrated and even clogged, all making it hard to get your glow on.
Today I'm sharing with you some of my go-to tips and products for when I need to get my radiance back. I hope this post helps some of you, especially if you're turning from the 'matte' look and embracing the dewy vibe. This sounds a bit like Star Wars... moving on.

Hydration
I won't dwell on this part too much because you all know what I'm going to say, but the first and most important step is to drink more water. This is the quickest way to get the skin looking plump and perky. Aim, emphasis on the aim for 2 litres a day. If it's hard for you to drink plain water, add some fruit to make it funky.

Skincare
There's three steps in skincare that really make a difference in the appearance of my skin. Exfoliation removes the excess dirt and dead skin which gives you that grey alien look. A good option for physical exfoliation is the Oskia Micro Exfoliating Balm or if you want a chemical exfoliant, the Pixi Glow Tonic is fab for newbies.
Then a good face mask to really draw out impurities and refine the skin. I like to use the Supderdrug Dead Sea Mud Mask or the Estee Lauder NightWear Plus 3 Minute Detox Mask
The last step is to of course moisturise! You can use whatever works for your skin i.e a cream, gel, oil. I love to use oils for intense nourishment. My favourite is the Pixi Rose Oil Blend

Enhancers
When I say enhancers, I mean things like primers and hydrating sprays. My primer of choice for adding glow and a subtle sheen is the Chanel Le Blanc De Chanel. It's a bit pricey but a little goes a long way and it really gives that ethereal effect. Sometimes I use the L'Oreal Magique Lumi Primer or Rosie for Autograph Amazing Radiance Cream which are great cheaper alternatives. If you need a quick hydrating boost, then a spritz of the Pixi Glow Mist or Hydrating Milky Mist is great for that.

Base
I like to use a dewy finish foundation to keep the glow going through the day. The L'Oreal Nude Magique Cushion Foundation is my new obsession and as well as being my new favourite, it's also the best affordable option. My high end go-to has to be the Giorgio Armania Luminous Silk Foundation, such a classic.

Extras
To top it all off I apply some peachy blush to my cheeks and some highlighter on my cheekbones, cupids bow, nose bridge and inner corners of my eyes. For a subtle sheen I use MAC'S Cream Colour Base in Pearl. When I want to blind people I use theBalm Mary Lou Manizer. An extra little tip is to apply a sheer lip balm with a bit of shine to hide any dryness and make the lips appear a bit fuller. The Kiko Kiss Balm's are amazing for this!

If you have any tips and tricks to looking like a disco ball then please let me know! Thanks so much for reading!

The first time I had my nails done professionally was for my wedding, and that was only two months ago! The experience was completely new to me, but I loved every second of it. You really do feel pampered and relaxed. Since then, I've discovered a new love for having pretty, polished nails.
Earlier this week I was in Superdrug and noticed a brand new stand with Kylie Jenner's face on it, naturally I walked over to see what it was for. To my surprise, it was a huge selection of nail polish. She has collaborated with SinfulColors to create a range of metallic nail colours called Precious Metals & Crown Jewels. Retailing at £3.
Now, I didn't actually like any of the shades from Kylie's range but I did spot one beautiful shade from the original SinfulColors line. Yesterday I applied it and was shocked! All I could think was 'OMG I HAVE FOUND THE KYLIE LIP COLOUR IN A NAIL POLISH'. Yes I admit it, I'm obsessed with that 90s brown-pink-mauve colour. What can I say?... some beauty trends get under your skin, even when you don't want them too.

Please excuse my terrible swatch

The polish comes in a decent size round bottle with a long cap/brush.
Price - £2
Texture - Thin polish
Finish - Evenly coated shine
Shade - Vacation Time

The product applies really evenly and smoothly. It's not thick or gloopy which is great for people who struggle to paint their nails... like me! The shade is the perfect brown-pink shade (very similar to the Kylie Jenner Candy K lip kit) It's one of those colours that will work with any makeup look and outfit. The brush is very thin. I can't comment on the wear time yet, but I will update you when it starts to chip.

Pros
- Even application
- Thin brush
- Smooth formula
- Doesn't clump
- Only 2 coats needed
Dries quickly

Cons
 - Wear time to be determined

I'm very impressed with this nail polish and I would highly recommend checking out the brand in your Superdrug. I will definitely be picking up more of the SinfulColors polishes. How can I not? The formula is great, they have an amazing shade range and the price is just amazing. Thanks so much for reading!

You've probably heard this 100 times already, but I have no clue where April went! The weather has gone from cold and depressing to so warm, I can't even wear a jacket to go out because I start sweating... nice. Here is my monthly round-up of my favourite products. I hope you enjoy!

Makeup

Too Faced Hangover Replenishing Face Primer
I had very high hopes for this primer, especially since it was my first ever Too Faced purchase. This primer is infused with coconut water and skin revivers to help give a nourished 'well rested' appearance. It definitely does what it says on the tin... well bottle. Under my foundation it makes my skin look plump, healthy and boosted. It has a gorgeous cream/gel texture that applies smoothly and leaves skin juicy and soft. My makeup lasts really well and my base can look dewy or matte depending on what I apply after. If you've been looking for a new face primer, I would happily suggest you try this one.

NYX Tinted Brow Mascara - Brunette
Throughout May, I barely wore makeup, but when I did feel like making effort, I literally applied a bit of concealer and tinted brow gel. This brow mascara from NYX deposits just the right amount of colour without clumping or looking un-natural. It has a really nice small wand that catches the hairs perfectly whilst fitting along the brow shape. The shade I have will work on medium to dark brown hair. It's a good size for travel too!

Skincare

Pixi Skintreats Hydrating Milky Mist
With this gorgeous warm weather, comes greasy skin. Half way through the day, my skin starts to get oily and feels a bit bleh. This  mist helps to refresh and balance my skin but still hydrates at the same time. It comes out in a really fine mist. You can also use it before makeup for a nice boost. The bottle is quite light so it's great to keep in your handbag to touch up throughout the day.

Nuxe Reve De Miel Ultra Nourishing Lip Balm
This is the holy grail of lip balms. It smells like oranges and honey, has a gorgeous thick texture and soothes dry lips after one use. I use it in my morning routine, before makeup and in the evening. It's a bit pricey for a lip balm at £9.50 but you do get a huge pot of 15g which will last you a long time.

Origins Drink Up-Intensive Overnight Mask
My skin has been drinking up any moisture recently which means I'm very dehydrated. Overnight masks are a great quick way to get the skin looking plump and fresh again. This one from Origins is my absolute favourite. It has a nice creamy rich texture, which leaves a film on the skin, giving you a radiant complexion the next morning. The best part is that it smells like a juicy fruit cocktail... mmm.

Don't forget to tell me your April favourites in the comments or on Instagram. Thank you for reading!

Some people think that face masks are gimmick products that don't actually do anything, and are a waste of money. I personally believe they make a huge difference in the quality and appearance of the skin. Exfoliating and purifying are my favourite types but I love a good hydrating mask too. A little while ago I made an online Superdrug order and picked up a few budget friendly face masks, not expecting anything special. Boy oh boy was I in for a surprise. These masks are incredible, and for the price point, I guarantee you, you won't find anything better! Let's get into the review and see if I can persuade you to try them... Enjoy!

Superdrug Cucumber Peel Off Mask

The mask comes in a small hand sized tube with a flip cap. I like the green packaging, it adds a nice pop of colour to my routine. Good for travel.
Price - £2.59 for 75ml
Texture - Thick gel
Finish - Refreshed, soft skin

What they say
This Refreshing Peel Off Mask with Cucumber extract immediately revitalises dull, tired skin, while gently lifting away dirt and impurities to reveal a vibrant, fresh-faced look.

Key ingredients
Cucumber Extract - Soothing, hydrating and refreshing
Witch Hazel - Astringent

What is it
This is a quick pick me up when your skin needs refreshing and soothing. The thick gel spreads nicely to create a film on the skin, which dries and then peels off. It has a lovely light cucumber scent. Suitable for all skin types.

How I use it
After cleansing, I apply the mask to my face in a good medium-thick layer, avoiding the eye area. You can use it AM/PM. I leave it on for roughly 20 minutes and then once it's dry, I peel it off. It does not tug or pull on hairs like some peel off masks can do. My skin looks vibrant and fresh whilst still being hydrated. It's great to use if you're just at home and your skin feels a bit bleh.

Pros
- Travel friendly
- Nice simple packaging
- Light scent
- Good for all skin types
- Quick results
- Does not pull on skin

Cons
- None

Superdrug Vitamin E Moisture Mask

The packaging is the same, it's just blue. Good for travel.
Price - £2.59 for 75ml
Texture - Medium cream
Finish - Soft, hydrating, glowing skin

What they say
This Anti-Ageing Moisture Mask combines the powerful antioxidant properties of Vitamin E and the nourishing effects of Grapeseed Oil to help protect and hydrate the skin for a firmer, younger-looking complexion.

Key ingredients
Vitamin E - Hydrating and moisturising
Grapeseed Oil - Nourishes and smooths
Goji Berry - Packed with antioxidants

What is it
This is a leave on mask that leaves the skin supple, radiant and nourished. It has a rich texture that absorbs after 10-15 minutes and coats the skin with a lovely layer of softness. It has a very mild scent. Suitable for all skin types.

How I use it
I take a 5p blob and apply it over my face and neck. You cannot see the mask on the skin so its great for planes and trains. You can use it AM before makeup or PM before bed. It gives the skin a blurred radiant look and super smooth feeling. It's my current favourite overnight mask!

Pros
- Nice packaging
- Good for travel
- Nice texture
- Not too rich
- Light scent
- Absorbs nicely
- Skin looks healthy and moisturised

Cons
- None

Superdrug Dead Sea Mud Mask

Same, good packaging, in purple. Good for travel
Price - £2.59 for 75ml
Texture - Wet, soft clay
Finish - Extremely clear skin

What they say
This Detoxifying Mud Mask contains ultra purifying Dead Sea Mud, which effectively unclogs pores and draws out dirt, oil and impurities, leaving skin feeling soft and revitalised.

Key ingredients
Dead Sea Mud - Unclogs and purifies
Kaolin - Smoothes and refines

What is it
This is a magnet for blemishes and blockages. The wet clay starts to dry almost straight away and you can see all of the blackheads and imperfections being drawn out of the skin. It has a nice smooth texture that applies evenly. It has herby scent which I really like. Suitable for all skin types.

How I use it
I apply a good layer over my face and slightly down the neck. I add two layers to congested areas (nose, chin, forehead). The first time I used it, I could see my blackheads being 'extracted' and all of the pores on my face... not a pleasant scene! Remove with hot flannel.
This mask purified my skin like nothing before. I have to be honest and say it's knocked my beloved Pixi Glow Mud Mask off the top spot! You need to have this mask in your life. If your skin is dry/normal you can use it once a week, and if your skin is combination/oily/acne prone, you can use it 2-3 times a week. Or be a rebel and use often as you like!

Pros
- Nice packaging
- Spreads evenly across face
- Thin-medium texture
- Wet, soft clay
- Easy to remove
- Herby scent
- Blackheads GONE!
- Best detoxifying mask I've ever tried

Cons
- None

Summary
These masks are truly hidden gems. I would never have thought these simple products would be so effective. No one can argue with the price and I think it would be a crime not to try them. There's one for every skin type and you can mix and match depending on how your skin is acting. Please, trust me with this one and try them. Thanks so much for reading!
