After all the hype around this range, I was expecting greatness. I'm not one who follows trends or has to have the latest addition of something, but after seeing Caroline Hirons make a video about facial oils, 'in particular TBS one' on The Body Shop's youtube channel, I knew I had to get me some of that action. TBS is probably the only brand where if theres a new range/product, I'm down there like a shot. Purely because I adore their skincare.  So here is my review of the items I purchased from the new Oils Of Like Range.
( Please bear with me and my pictures, I'm trying to make them clearer and more professional. I'm not fussed about props and extras in my pictures, although it looks nice, I like the main focus to be on the product so you can really see it.Hopefully my recent blog posts have been an improvement.)

I picked up two products. The Intensely Revitalising Essence Lotion and the Intensely Revitalising Facial Oil. At some point I will try the other products and review them for you.

The lotion comes in a pretty plastic bottle, it almost looks like a vintage medicine/potion bottle. Secure for travel.
Price - £15 for 160ml
Texture - Bi Phase ( Oil and water mix)
Finish - Soft, plump radiant skin

What they say
By infusing this potent oil blend in to a unique bi-phase (oil and water) formula, we created the essential 1st step after cleansing. A daily lotion that provides instant visible results while preparing and activating skin for the next steps of your routine.

Key ingredients
Black Cumin Oil from Egypt - Full of anti-oxidants and vitamins
Rosehip Oil from Chile - Rich in essential fatty acids that protect the skin against damage and free radicals
Camellia Oil from China - Nourishes the skin with omega 9 fatty acids and Vitamin E

What is it
This is essentially an extra step of moisture and hydration in your routine. The mix of oil and water offers the perfect balance to your skin without leaving the skin tacky or greasy. It smells strongly of the black cumin oil, which I have become obsessed with. It's a strong, peppery smokey smell and I find it hypnotising. Suitable for all skin types. Especially great for dry, dehydrated, mature skins.

( when shaken)

How I use it
I give it a shake, pour 4-5 drops on a cotton pad and swipe it all over my face, eyes and neck. This replaces the toner stage, so my routine would be : cleanse, acid, essence lotion, serum, moisturiser. You can use this AM or PM. This makes the skin soft, supple and hydrated. It's not tacky or greasy on the skin and serums sit perfectly on top of it. Instantly the skin looks radiant, bright and revitalised.

Pros
- Affordable for an essence
- Smells invigorating
- Great for all skin types
- Easy to use
- Instant results

Cons
- None

The oil comes in a beautiful hand size glass bottle with a pipette dispenser. It has a gorgeous sunset ombre effect on the bottle. Good for travel if you need an oil.
Price - £28 for 30ml
Texture - Medium, soft, fast absorbing oil
Finish - Glowing, perfected, awakened skin

What they say
A powerful blend of essential oils, we created a daily facial oil that intensively revitalises skin and visibly reduces signs of ageing.

What is it
This a beautiful facial oil that instantly perks up the skin without being thick or too heavy. It's a cold pressed oil, which means no heat is used to extract the oils from the plants/flower etc. This makes sure you get all the nutrients and you have a clean pure source. Again it smells heavily of black cumin, which I can't get enough of.

How I use it
I dispense 2-3 drops in my hands and massage it all over my face and neck. Straight away it starts to warm and absorb into the skin, leaving it feeling, soft, moisturised and velvety soft. It sits beautifully over any serum. You can apply it AM or PM, I tend to use it PM, as that's when I like to use facial oils. The morning after, my skin looks transformed. It's even in tone, bouncy and so soft. The concentration of the oils just injects your skin with nutrients and essential ingredients.

Pros
- Instant results
- Great for all skin types
- Amazing scent
- Non greasy/clogging
- Pure source
- Luxurious feeling

Cons
- Mid to high end price - depending on budget
( I think it's well worth it for the benefits and ingredients)

Summary
This range has definitely lived up to my expectations. It's all about boosting, revitalising and instantly giving your skin oomph, which it does! All ages and all skin types can use these products. I will absolutely re-purchase these products and hopefully try the other items in the range. Thank you so much for reading and I hope you love these products as much as I do.

Marks and Spencer has become my new beauty hub. My local one now sells, REN, Emma Hardie, Korres and more which I am so excited. I saw Korres had an offer for buy one get one free, on their Wild Rose line, so of course, I picked up two things. I've been testing this moisturiser out for a while now, and now it's time to share my thoughts.

The cream comes in a hand size glass jar, with a plastic lid. I really like the packaging, its simple but still pretty. Ok for travel.
Price - £20
Texture - Soft, fast absorbing cream
Finish - Hydrated, smooth, soft skin

What they say
This extraordinary 24-hour moisturiser has a rich yet soft texture and a unique blossom aroma. Korres Wild Rose has a repairing action that will reduce your fine lines and skin colour disorders.

Key ingredients
Wild Rose Oil - Rich in Vitamin C, which brightens the skin and fades marks.
Lactic Acid - Exfoliates the skin
Macadamia Ternifolia Seed oil - Rich in essential fatty acids

What is it
This is a beautiful moisturiser that instantly softens and nourishes the skin without feeling heavy or clogging. It has a gorgeous light rose scent, nothing over powering. Suitable for all skin types, especially great for drier skins.

How I use it
I take a 5-10p size amount and apply it all over my face and neck. I use it in the morning to moisturise and soften my skin. It applies beautifully over serums and sits nicely under makeup. It always leaves the skin looking fresh, awake and glowing.

Pros
- Mid price
- Non offensive scent
- Instantly moisturising and hydrating
- Great for all skin types
- Adds glow and radiance

Cons
- None

Summary
I can't recommend this moisturiser enough! It does everything it promise. A great product, especially when on offer! I will definitely try other products from Korres after this find! Thank you so much for reading.

I am a cleansing balm freak. Nothing beats a good quality balm to cleanse, massage and pamper the skin. I picked this one up whilst I was in Boots, trailing the skincare aisles. Plus it was the last one, so it had to be mine. I know all you cleansing freaks like me will love this, so here is my review.

The balm comes in a nice hand sized plastic pot. It's nice and sturdy with simple white packaging. Great for travel
Price - £8.99 for 65ml
Texture - Smooth, oily, medium balm
Finish - Beautiful, cleansed, glowing skin

What they say
This organic deep-cleansing balm contains a luxurious blend of Shea Butter, Rosehip and Jojoba Oil to leave skin smooth and beautifully clean.

Key ingredients
Rosehip - Rich in essential fatty acids, nourishes and re-hydrates
Shea Butter - Intensely moisturising
Jojoba Oil - Anti- microbial and prevents breakouts

What is it
This is a beautiful cleansing balm, not too thick (Lush Ultrabland) or too thin and oily (TBS Camomile Cleansing Butter). It cleanses the skin whilst leaving it glowy, bright and smooth. It's great for a facial massage and it has just enough slip. Suitable for all skin types.

(balm stage)

(oily stage)

How I use it
I take a 10p size amount and massage it across my face and neck. I use it as a morning or second evening cleanse. I don't use it for makeup removal but you could if you wanted too. It removes any dirt, impurities, and daily grime. After using it my skin is radiant, polished and beautifully soft.

Pros
- Affordable
- A little goes a long way
- Smooth and buttery
- Non offensive scent
- Cleanses and hydrates

Cons
- None

Summary
I'm so glad I purchased this product. I've used it quite a lot, especially in the evening. I wouldn't say its a dupe for the Emma Hardie cleansing balm, but it is an alternative. If you're looking for a high street/affordable option for an amazing cleansing balm, this could be perfect for you. I highly recommend giving this a go. Thank you for reading!

After missing out on the first beauty box, I wasn't going to miss this one! I'd only heard of a few products in the box, so it was exciting to try things I've never heard of/used. A lot of people have been asking me about the products and for reviews, so thats what I'm doing today.

I love the packaging of this box. I love the bright orange print, it's so uplifting and fun. You get 8 products in this box, which is great value for the cost.

Cleansers

Skyn Iceland Pure Cloud Cleanser
£22.50 for 150ml

This is a beautiful soft, cream cleanser that soothes, calms and softens the skin. It's especially great for dry, dehydrated, tired and sensitive skins. It contains arctic berries and shea butter, which are great for nourishing and moisturising. Just take a 10p sized amount and massage onto bare, dry skin and remove with a hot flannel. It has a gentle, barely there scent. The skin is clean, but not stripped or disrupted. Great for a morning cleanse of second evening cleanse, not makeup removal.

RMS Beauty Raw Coconut Cream
£12.50 for 70g

This coconut cream is amazing. I haven't used it to remove makeup (which is what Caroline recommended it for) but I use it a normal evening cleanse. It's just such a pure form of coconut and it smells incredible. Like a delicious Bounty bar. It's so nourishing and moisturising on the skin. High in lauric acid, it's anti- bacterial and anti-fungal properties make it great for everyone to use, especially acne/blemish prone skin.

Acid Toner

Pixi Glow Tonic
£18 for 250ml

This product was the main reason I purchased this beauty box. It was completely worth it, definitely lived up to the hype. This is an exfoliating toner, which contains 5% glycolic acid, aloe vera and ginseng. If you read my blog, you'll know acid toning for me is the second most important step in skincare. This toner exfoliates the skin and adds an amazing glow. It smoothes, brightens and clears the skin, perfect for all skin types. You can use AM or PM.

Eye Cream/Gel

Skin Owl Eye+
£36 for 23g

I was really excited to try this product after Caroline did the reveal on it. It is the best eye product I have tried so far. This is a beautiful eye cream/gel that instantly cools, de-puffs and calms the eye area. It is especially cool, as it's in a glass jar. It smells like cucumbers which I love, so refreshing and light. It's not thick or heavy, great for everyone.

Serums

Odacite Pomegranate + Rose Geranium Facial Serum Concentrate
£33 for 5ml

2-3 drops of this before or mixed in with your moisturiser will instantly change your skin. It's packed with botanical extracts and vitamin E which moisturise, nourish and replenish the skin. It boosts the skin and puts back in the moisture and hydration. One thing to note, it doesn't have the most pleasant smell. It's kind of like Sunday Riley Artemis, there's no fake fragrance, so you get a full whiff on the natural ingredients. It's not terrible but its very organic smelling. Suitable for all skin types.

REN Vita Mineral Omega 3 Optimum Skin Serum Oil
Sample Size - 10ml

This will also change your skin immediately. A couple of drops mixed with or applied before your moisturiser, it will protect the skin and restore suppleness. It's a light oily, serum that absorbs quickly and gives skin a healthy, fresh appearance. To me it has a very slight clementine scent, I don't know if there's anything like this in it, but it's nice and subtle. This product is sleep in a bottle. You will look well rested and alive. Suitable for all skin types.

Moisturiser

Alpha H Essential Hydration Cream
Sample size - 30ml

I love this product. It's a great basic moisturiser for AM or PM. It smells almost minty to me, which I really like, it's a light texture and absorbs quickly. Packed with essentially fatty acids, vitamins and minerals, it soothes, repairs and restores the lustre in the skin. It sits nicely on top of any serum or toner, and a little goes a long way.

Multi-use

Pommade Divine Nature's Remedy Balm
£19.80 for 50ml

I'm so glad Caroline included this in the box. This formula has been used for over 200 years to soothe, comfort and aid skin problems. It  contains beautiful essential oils which restore the skin's softness and suppleness. This balm is also great for eczema and dermatitis which I have. After all the scratching and irritation, this really helps calm and relieve it. The scent is quite warm and medicinal. Suitable for all skin types. I use this on my body, not face.

Summary
To sum up, this box is amazing. Caroline and Cult Beauty did an amazing job putting these products together. There isn't one product that I don't like or use. I love how everything works for all skin types and will work for everyone. The value is amazing for 6 full sizes and 2 sample. This was definitely worth the hype and I'm so glad I picked it up. I hope the reviews were helpful for those who wanted more details on the products. Let's hope the winter box will be just as good! Thank you for reading.

I've tried a couple of things from Sanctuary Spa, and they were a success, so I thought I'd try this since it was on offer. I haven't tried a face mask like this, and I use face masks quite a lot, so it's fun to see a difference. I think a lot of people will enjoy using this, so here is my review.

The mask comes in a long, slim plastic tube. Simple packaging, ok for travel if you have space for a mask.
Price - £10.50 for 100ml, I bought it on offer for around £6
Texture - Thick, soft mask
Finish - Clean, re-balanced, soft skin

What they say
The warmth of this Sanctuary Thermal Detox self-heating mask helps to open up the pores so the charcoal and kaolin clay can help draw out the impurities from deep within the skin.

Key ingredients
Kaolin Clay - Contains silica which removes dead skin cells
Beeswax - Anti-septic and anti-inflammatory
Sweet Almond Oil - Nourishing and moisturising

What is it
This mask is a perfect for clearing any congestion or breakouts in the skin. It deep cleans pores, making them hardly visible. A little goes a long way, as the mask is quite thick, but still spreadable   It has a soft typical clay scent, and is suitable for all skin types.

How I use it
I apply a semi thick layer across my face, avoiding the eyes and brows. I leave it on for 10 - 15 minutes. As you spread the mask you can feel it warming up on your face, and the more you rub it around, the hotter it gets. It shouldn't cause any type of discomfort, however some people may just not like the hot feeling.

Pros
- Affordable
- Deep cleans
- Clears breakouts and congestion
- Calms and soothes
- Moisturises as it purifies

Cons
- Hot feel in may not suit everyone

Summary
I absolutely love this face mask. It's a basic clay mask but it works wonders. I really enjoy the self heating technology and think it definitely adds an oomph. It doesn't strip the skin and after each use the skin is clear, soft and balanced. This is perfect for anyone who wants a mask they can use weekly to keep their skin extra clear and healthy. Thank you for reading!

I haven't tried any of The Body Shop Vitamin E range, I love the other ranges, but nothing really stood out in the E range. Whenever I got to TBS I always try something new, so I picked this up. Serums are probably the smallest part of my skincare collection so I'm glad I chose this. On Instagram a lot of people have asked about this product, so I hope this review helps.

The serum comes in a pretty little pink bottle, with a pipette dispenser. It's a nice hand size and would be good for travel.
Price - £15 for 28ml
Texture - Thin, clear oil
Finish - Hydrated, radiant, soft skin

What they say
Wake up to beautiful skin with new Vitamin E Serum-In-Oil, a technical innovation combing the power of a serum and oil to indulge, replenish and recharge skin with moisture overnight.

Key ingredients

Sweet Almond Oil - Repairs damage and give gives skin nutrients

What is it
This Serum in oil is a beautiful vitamin rich serum that gives the skin glow, hydration and youth. Like you've had 8 hours of sleep. The oil is so thin and it absorbs straight away, no grease or tackiness. It has a soft vitamin E smell, which is quite nice. Suitable for all skin types.

How I use it
I take 2-3 drops for my face and neck and apply after the spray tone stage. You can apply a moisturiser on top but I don't think you have too. I massage it into the skin and let it absorb. When I wake up, my skin is nourished, awake and just healthy looking. This product is great for any skin type, but especially, dry, tired and dehydrated skins. You will see a difference after only one or two uses.
