These are all of the products I enjoyed during the month of May. Some are new finds, some are old staples.

Skincare

Emma Hardie Amazing Face Moringa Cleansing Balm
Space NK

This has been my obsession since I bought it! It is my desert island product and I couldn't be without it. Every night I look forward to cleansing, because with this, it's a pleasure not a chore. It smells incredible, and leaves my skin looking fresher and more radiant every single time. Full review posted.

La Roche Posay Thermal Spring Water
Boots

I picked this up recently as a kind of 'substitute' for the Serozinc spray. I love spray toners and this one is particular is so hydrating and cooling on the skin. It contains anti-oxidants and is a great first step to adding moisture to your skin that won't dehydrate off.

Yes To Cucumbers Daily Calming Moisturiser
Boots

This is my go to when my skin feels irritated, sore or tight/dry. Sometimes after treatments or hair removal my skin can get red and I know it needs something basic and calming. This moisturiser does exactly that, it's rich enough to soften and soothe without leaving you greasy. It's a great one for people with sensitive issues such as dryness, redness and tightness.

Bodycare

Mio Liquid Yoga
Space NK

This is a mini investment for those who have aches, pains and sore muscles. It's about £26 but is definitely worth it if you like relaxing baths, that ease muscle tension and really de stress. It has an amazing seaweed/minty smell and it instantly gives me a spa feeling.

Haircare

Tangle Teezer
Selfridges

I'll be honest and say I don't like this colour, at the time of buying it there was only this one, so I just picked it. For years I saw people talking about the Tangle Teezer but at that time I wasn't bothered about it. I don't get tangly hair, however I wanted something that will brush through my hair smoother than a comb. This does just that and I like it's tapered shape so it fits my hand perfectly.

Nails

I don't know a great deal about nail care, but I started using this cuticle remover and it has made a world of difference to how my nails look. When I use it, my nails look tidy, the edges are cleaner and makes it so much better when painting my nails. This softens the cuticles and makes it really easy to remove them. Staple in my nail care routine.

Make-up

Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara
Boots

This is the only mascara i've used throughout all of May. It adds volume, length and definition to both the top and bottom lashes. I love the shape of the wand, it curves around the lashes to coat, lift and separate. You can apply two, three coats and it still doesn't get clumpy.

Milani Color Statement Lipstick - Nude Creme
Cocktail Cosmetics

I love everything about this lipstick from the packaging, formula, colour and pay off. It provides great coverage, it's super creamy and gives me the perfect medium nude pink lip.

MAC Pro Longwear Concealer - NC15
MAC

I have been loving this through May, it gives me the coverage I want without caking in the certain areas I apply it. I use it as concealer, to tidy up my brows and even as an eyeshadow base under a smokey eye. It sets nicely and goes on smoothly.

Milani Baked Blush -Luminoso
Cocktail Cosmetics

This is the perfect Spring/Summer blush. It's a beautiful peachy, pink coral shade that suits everyone. It has some shimmer through it, but when on the cheeks it just has a beautiful glow. It is very pigmented so a little gives the perfect pop on the cheeks.

Thank you so much for reading!

After seeing all the skin care addicts and lovers on Instagram adoring this cleanser, I thought I'll give it a go. When I went into The Body Shop, I was on my 4th or 5th stamp on my loyalty card which meant 30% off, so I got it for £7 instead on £10. Which was fab for me! The Body Shop Loyalty Card is great and I highly recommend getting one. Anyway onto the review.

It comes in a nice tube that stands well in my skin care draw or on the shelf. Simple white and green packaging and isn't heavy.  I find the size is ok for travel.
Price - £10 for 100ml
Texture - Thick gel/balm
Finish - Soft, clean refreshed skin

What they say
Smoothing, refreshing gel to oil cleanser that lifts away make-up and impurities.

Key Ingredients
Babassu oil - A vegetable oil that is moisturising and is full of fatty acids.

What is it
This is a beautiful thick gel/balm cleanser that leaves the skin nourished and soft, whilst effectively cleansing and removing dirt/impurities and make -up. Suitable for all skin types.

(oily stage)

(milky stage)

How I use it
I use it as my normal cleanse if I'm bare faced in the evening, but if I'm wearing makeup, I'll use it as my second cleanse. A 20p sized amount is enough for my whole face. The gel/balm turns into an oil when worked onto the skin, which melts away anything on the face. I tend to remove it while it's in the oily stage with a hot flannel. Afterwards my skin feels refreshed and so nourished, it doesn't strip the skin and is a great quick fix for cleansing.

Pros
- Effectively cleanses
- Gentle scent
- Nourishes

Cons
- None

Summary
This is great version of a balm cleanser that won't break the bank. It does everything I need a cleanser to do, it is definitely one of my top cleansers. I will be getting a back up very soon. If anyone wants a new cleanser, not expensive, effective and has more oomph, this is the one to go for. Thank you for reading.

I picked this up about a month ago, and have loved it since. I've seen people talk about it, but never saw the wow factor. While I was in Space NK I found the travel/mini section and thought I'll just try it. So here is my review on the Caudalie Beauty Elixir.

This is the travel size, which is the perfect hand bag size. It's a pretty bottle, and isn't heavy.
Price - £11.50 for 30ml
Texture - Fine, even spritz
Finish - Refreshing, glowy skin

What they say
A powerful plant based beauty mist that gently hydrates and boosts radiance while refreshing skin and tightening pores.

Key ingredients
Grape fruit extract - rich in Vitamin C & E.
Peppermint oil - Can aid in oil secretion, therefore preventing acne.

What is it
This is a beautiful, calming spritz that can be used as a pick me up during the day or as the 'spritz tone' step. Smells incredible, like minty grapes, and leaves the skin soft and glowy. Suitable for all skin types.

How I use it
I use it as my hydrating toner, after acid. 2-3 sprays is enough for my face, although I tend to do a couple more because its so refreshing. It makes my skin brighter and more awake. A breath of fresh air. The scent to me is mild aromatherapy, it's so invigorating.

Pros
- Wakes up sluggish skin
- Beautiful scent
- Skin feels soft

Cons
- Maybe be too harsh for everyday use/ sensitive skins

Summary
This is a beautiful spritz suitable for anyone who needs something on hand that can revitalise their skin. Its gentle on the skin and feels lovely. Definitely something for anyone to try out. Thank you for reading.

Recently as I was organising my skincare draw, I realised a lot it contained Vitamin C. Everything had a pattern, glow, fresh and smoothing. I was always drawn to these kind of products, but I didn't think I used that many. So, I thought I'd share with you why I love Vitamin C in my products and the benefits it has. I will show you the products in the order I use them.

Vitamin C is an essential building block of collagen, which is a protein that cements every thing together. It also provides anti-oxidant protection from free radicals. It can be particularly beneficial to mature, dull and ageing skin. It promotes radiance, luminosity and smoothness.

My skincare with Vitamin C.

Super Facialist Vitamin C Gentle Daily Micro Polish Wash

The Product

I've used this product for almost a year now, and it was my first product concentrated with Vitamin C. It is my morning cleanser, a light gel texture but does not foam. It has a gritty texture but isn't an actual scrub. It works to polish and reveal fresh, radiant skin.

Why The Vitamin C Works

This cleanser has a beautiful citrus scent, which wakes you up instantly in the morning. Also, the Vitamin C & E promote brighter looking skin, even when it is being washed off.

The Body Shop Vitamin C Energising Face Spritz

The Product

This is a beautiful face spray that can be used throughout the day or as the 'spray tone' stage. I use it as my 'spray tone' step. It is refreshing and gives a perky glow to the skin. Leaves the skin feeling smooth and supple.

Why The Vitamin C Works

It is almost aromatherapy to people who love orange- citrus scents. It smells amazing and gives a fresh glow. It hydrates the skin, and is an instant pick me up.

Super Facialist Vitamin C Glow Boost Skin Serum

The Product

This was my first serum and is still my most used one. It brightens, replenishes and helps even skin tone 'temporarily'. It really nourishes the skin, and adds a boost to your skin.

Why The Vitamin C Works

This is a very concentrated serum, that packs a punch. Again it has a beautiful orange scent. It contains a high content of Vitamin C and Hyaluronic acid, so it really boosts hydration levels. It does even my skin tone slightly, as I do have pigmentation in certain areas, which this blurs.

Super Facialist Vitamin C Skin Defence Skin Moisturiser

The Product

This is a great basic moisturiser with a hit of Vitamin C. It adds hydration and gives skin a gorgeous smooth feeling. Absorbs nicely and lays beautifully under makeup. It also has UVA/UVB protection.
Why The Vitamin C Works

The next generation Vitamin C promotes collagen synthesis and also increases skin density. It smooths the skin, and protects from free radicals and ageing. A mature skin might enjoy this moisturiser because of the protection and effect it gives.

The Body Shop Vitamin C Glow Boosting Moisturiser

The Product

This is my new obsession! I bought this the day it came out,  I just happened to go shopping that day, not knowing I'd find this bad boy. It's a gorgeous light gel texture, and feels so hydrating on the skin. It gives you a fresh glow, perfect for when your skin looks dull and feels blah.

Why The Vitamin C Works

This is my new favourite product I own containing Vitamin C. It really boosts your skin, helps you look fresh and feel alive. I am always about making the skin look healthy and hydrated and this does that. It is everything dull, dehydrated, miserable skin needs in a  jar. My biggest recommendation. Also has the best scent to me, imagine the best, juiciest, most amazing citrus cocktail. Yeah it's like that.

If you are looking for the following
- Glow
-Freshness
-Luminosity
 - Smoothness
-Hydration

Try out these products, or others with Vitamin C, to me it's a must have to have something included to add a hit of glow and freshness.  Test out how you'r skin reacts to Vitamin C first, try a sample in store. Some people can be intolerant or even be allergic. Thank you for reading.

After waiting and waiting, and waiting some more, this cleanser recently made it's way into my collection. It was part of my first ever purchase from SpaceNK, which felt good! Trying it out for a couple of weeks has been a pleasure, so here is my review of the Emma Hardie Cleansing Balm.

I love that this comes in a pot, it's bulky and luxurious. Not great for travel, but I would always make space for it because it's my main cleanser.
Price - £38 for 100ml
Texture - Soft, thick balm
Finish - Radiant, clean, soft skin

What they say
A balanced daily cleanser that thoroughly cleanses and moisturises and can calm sensitive skin and revitalise dull and mature skins.

Key Ingredients
Grape seed oil and Sweet almond oil -  rich in essential fatty acids.
Moringa seeds - full of antioxidants.

What is it
This is a luxurious cleansing balm, suitable for makeup removal or as a 'skin' cleanser. Cleanses efficiently without stripping the skin. Leave the skin feeling beautifully soft and looking radiant. Suitable for all skin types.

How I use it
I use this as a 'skin' cleanser, because it feels so amazing on my skin, I prefer using something else to remove makeup. I use it in the evening to nourish my skin. I take a 20p size amount for all over the face and really massage it in. I take it off with a hot flannel in the oily stage, you can add a bit of water to emulsify. Every single use, my skin looks perfect afterwards.

Pros
- Cleanses effectively
- Nourishes and hydrates
- Suitable for all skin types
- Gentle, aromatic scent

Cons
- None

Summary
This to me was completely worth the wait. It is my first balm cleanser and it did not disappoint. It's such a universal product, and will benefit everyone. You can also use it to a facial massage, because it has enough grip, as long as you don't use too much. I will always have one in my collection now, as I couldn't imagine my routine without it. This review was quite to the point, but there isn't much to say, other than this is an amazing product! Thank you for reading.

I love a nude lip. I very rarely wear a bright/dark lip, hence I have a good variety of nude lipsticks/glosses.  This post will show you my 5 favourites and what makes them all different but great.

1. Rimmel Kate Lasting Finish Lipstick
Shade - 03
Price - £5.49

This was one of my first nude lipsticks i ever tried, and I still love it. It's a brown toned nude, matte finish. (looks like it has a sheen in the picture, but I had a little bit of lip balm underneath). This is my go to when I'm wearing a dark/dramatic smokey eye. I would say it suits light to medium-dark skin tones. Feels comfortable on the lips and is quite creamy. Best applied to (non cracked) lips. Nice matte black packaging.

2. Milani Colour Statement Lipstick
Shade - Nude Creme
Price - £5

I recently found this lipstick at Cocktail Cosmetics Birmingham and I'm so happy I picked it up! It's a slightly darker nude, and more pink toned.  A good one for a 'my lips but better' colour. It's a matte finish, but is very creamy and soft on the lips. It nourishes the lips but still provides a full coverage, even for a nude. Perfect for day to day or for a little colour with a smokey eye that won't clash. I love the gold packaging, which gives it a more luxurious feeling.
Suitable for all skin tones.

3. Topshop Lip Bullet
Shade - Crave
Price - £8

I can't wait to try more of these lip bullets. This is more of a light peachy nude, perfect for a muted but not washed out lip. Again, it's a matte finish but creamy texture. I really like the packaging, I feel like it's one that you can chuck in your bag and it will last. Good coverage, best applied to moisturised lips. My first Topshop product did not disappoint. Suitable for light to medium skin tones.

4. Gerard Cosmetics Jaclyn Hill Collection Lipstick
Shade - Buttercup
Price - £12.50

I've already posted a full review on this lipstick, but I'll give you a summary. This is the perfect nude pink lipstick. Creamy and luxurious whilst providing a good coverage. Can be worn day or night, and suitable for all skin tones.

5. Models Own HyperLips Lipgloss
Shade - Naturally Nude
Price - £4.99

This is a new one for me, from the new HyperLips range. It definitely met my expectations and I can't wait to try other colours. Its a light neutral nude, that adds a good gloss to the lips. It is quite thick in texture and a bit sticky, which means it will last a long time. I would wear it when my hair is up though. Suitable for all skin tones.

Here are the products I really enjoyed using throughout April. Some were new finds in April, and a few are things I've had for a while.

Skincare

Dr Organic Organic Moroccan Oil - Facial Oil
Holland and Barrett

This facial oil was my staple this month. I used it almost every night as my 'moisturiser' step. It instantly gives you a lift of moisture and leaves the skin glowing in the morning. It is crammed with essential fatty acids, which have worked to give my face a boost. Full review posted.

Indeed Laboratories - Hydraluron
Boots

I finally picked this up in April and I'm so glad I did! After the rave reviews and strong influence from Caroline Hirons, I knew it was time to try it. The hyaluronic acid boosted and hydrated my skin straight away. It will give you beautiful, plump, perky skin. I will never be without it. If your skin is dehydrated, just try it!

Nivea Lip Butter - Coconut
Boots/Superdrug

Also a new find recently. This is one of two new additions to the lip butter range from Nivea. It really helped soothe and soften my lips, which were still recovering from winter. Smells beautiful, so if you love coconut, you will love this.

Haircare

Lee Stafford Argan Oil - Ultra Hydration Lotion
Boots

This is a leave in conditioner that I found a couple months ago but have been loving it recently. A lot of products can feel heavy on my hair but this doesn't. It's lightweight texture but still rich and hydrating. I apply it to towel dried hair and leave it to absorb, when my hair is dry it feel lovely and soft.

Body/Hands

Garnier Hand Repair Cream - with maple sap extract.
Boots/Superdrug

A couple of months ago I got pompholyx eczema, which left my hands feeling sore, dry and itchy! I found this hand cream and it saved my hands. It is rich without being too heavy, soothes, softens and moisturises. Has a very light scent.

Fragrance

Zoella Beauty Blissful Mistful - Fragrance Mist
Superdrug

I have been loving this through April. It has been my day to day fragrance, perfect for transitioning into spring and summer. The best way to describe the scent is to say, to me this a inexpensive dupe for Marc Jacobs Daisy perfume. One to try for those that like, light floral scents without being too strong.

Make-up

Urban Decay Naked Skin Foundation - shade 0.5
Debenhams/Selfridges

I've had this for a long time and forgot about it. Then early April I tidied my make-up draw and found it and used it the next time I did my make-up. I fell back in love with it. It gives a lovely medium coverage, natural finish, on my normal-combination skin. The shade is a bit too dark for me but blended in well it's not noticeable. A good foundation for spring and summer.

Lush Skin Tint - Feeling Younger
Lush

Everyone knows I'm obsessed with having a glow, and this gives the glowing from within look. It's a cream highlighter that I've been using under foundation on the high points of the face, it's really good if your skin isn't looking great because this can cheat, giving you healthy looking skin. Great for coming into spring and summer. This shade is a pearlescent white. Try out in store to see the colour on your skin.

Eylure Brow Pencil - No10 Dark Brown
Superdrug

This has become my new go to product for my brows. It gives them that perfect balance of groomed and polished but strong enough. It's not too hard but not soft/waxy, perfect medium texture. Colour works great on my dark brows. A great option for fuss free gorgeous brows.

Urban Decay Make-up Setting Spray - Chill
Debenhams/Selfridges

Finally this month, I have been loving this setting spray from Urban Decay. It's prefect for those who need/want a more fresh, hydrated finish from a setting spray. Which is exactly what I want for this time of year. Thank you for reading.
