My current pamper evening routine is perfect for giving some extra time and attention to your face. Done once or twice weekly, it helps deep clean, stimulate and nourish with just a few extra steps.

Deep Cleanse & Massage
The first step is to do a nice deep cleanse with either a balm or oil. My picks at the moment are The Body Shop Camomile Cleansing Butter and Oil. Once applied to dry skin, I do a facial massage. Either using my hands or The Body Shop Facial Massager. This breaks up any grime and helps to stimulate blood flow.

Purifying Mask
Both of these masks will detoxify, draw out impurities and clear congested skin. They also contain ingredients like honey and avocado to help nourish and rebalance at the same time.

Acid Tone
I've explained this step in other blog posts, but to sum up, this is the exfoliating stage in liquid form. This particular one contains salicylic acid and will gently resurface the skin.

Hydrating Tone
This fine spray will soothe and hydrate the skin immediately. The perfect way to start adding moisture, and you can apply directly to the face.

Serum
Hydraluron contains one of the purest forms of hyaluronic acid, which can hold up to 1000 times it's weight in water. This means any moisture applied over top will sink in like a sponge, to help give plumpness and soften.

Eye Cream/ Gel
Simply just apply your regular eye cream, This one works well for me, it's soothing and hydrating which my eyes really need.

Moisturiser/ Oil
Finally I like to apply this facial oil by Dr Organic. It is packed with essential fatty acids, instantly nourishes and restores, leaving the skin radiant and youthful.

If you incorporate these extra steps into your basic routine, it really adds a boost to the skin and makes a noticeable difference. Thanks you for reading.

So last month I went shopping and had to go into Holland and Barrett with my family. I've never been interested in this shop so at first I was a bit bored, until I saw the skincare aisle sign! I was surprised at the range of skincare, they even have the Yes To ranges. I scanned the shelves but what caught my eye was the Organic Argan Facial Oil, of course I bought it! I've been testing it out ever since and what to tell you my thoughts on this product.

The outside packaging caught my eye straight away, it's quite bold yet simple, which made it just look promising to me. The glass bottle itself is nice and luxurious and I like that you can see the serum through it. It dispenses from a pipette.
Price - £14.99 for 30ml
Texture - Thin oil
Finish - Soft, nourished, glowing skin

What they say
An advanced anti-aging serum, that optimises the skins natural cell regenerating and anti-aging process. Restores skin elasticity and firmness, optimises cellular renewal, speeds up cell oxygenation, leaves skin soft and supple, nourishes and restores.

Key ingredients
Argan oil - rich content of essential fatty acids
Rosehip oil - faded scars and dark spots
Vitamin E - protects cells from damage caused by free radicals

What is it
This is a facial oil/serum used before moisturiser to nourish and hydrate the skin. Packed with great ingredients, it restores and gives the skin a beautiful youthful glow. Suitable for all skin types.

How I use it
I use it in the evening as a serum, after I've cleansed and toned. I take 2-3 drops for my whole face. It really softens and nourishes my skin, it's quite a thin oil but will leave you looking a bit shiny.

Pros
- Nourishes and hydrates
- Thin texture
- Natural scent
- Only need a small amount
- Does what it says

Cons
- Not great for travel

Summary
This was an amazing find from Holland and Barrett. After searching for months for a natural facial oil, that is easy to get and works! I sometimes use it when I do a facial massage, and it works perfectly. It feels so luxurious to me and I'd be lost without it. It's a great product at a great price point. I can't wait to try the other Dr Organic Argan Oil products, and the other ranges. Thank you for reading.
